Good morning, I hope you are doing well.

Do you have a take on the USS Fitzgerald collision?

“Yes, the bible offends the hell out of Satanists. I think that’s intentional.”

Satan himself is harmed every time someone opens a Bible.

EXACTLY.

The Bible is God’s way to teach us to be happy, successful, on the right path in this short life.

See excerpts: The Anvil that Has Worn Out Many Hammers

By Editorial Staff
Published December 22, 2007

Nineteenth century writer H.L. Hastings once forcibly illustrated the unique way in which the Bible has withstood the attacks of skepticism:

“Infidels of eighteen hundred years have been refuting and overthrowing this book, and yet it stands today as solid rock. Its circulation increases, and it is more loved and cherished and read today than ever before. Infidels, with all their assaults, make about as much impression on this book as a man with a tack hammer would on the Pyramids of Egypt.

“When the French monarch proposed the persecution of Christians in his dominion, an old statesman and warrior said to him, ‘Sire, the church of God is an anvil that has worn out many hammers.’ So the hammers of infidels have been pecking away at this book for ages, but the hammers are worn out, and the anvil still endures. If this book had not been the book of God, men would have destroyed it long ago. Emperors and popes, kings and priests, princes and rulers have all tried their hand at it; they die and the book still lives.”"(End excerpt)

Woah, I don’t think I have EVER seen the Doctor so fired up! I feel like i went to church! :) I know he mentioned that the school was in Canada, but it’s obviously just a matter of time before it happens in the U.S., too.

Thanks for posting this video. I subscribe to E.T.’s YouTube channel, but I’m set to get “occasional notifications,” not all, so I hadn’t seen this one.

**People: The punctuation error in the title came from the original; it’s not Morgana’s mistake. Get a grip.

JPSB,

Regarding Secular Humanism being the religion of government you posted: “This is a clear violation of the second amendment.”

I think you meant “...violation of the first amendment.”

Canada’s Catholic school system is partially government subsidized, so they get these demands and often acquiesce.
In this case, it is a Protestant school but I don’t know if they take government money. If they do, they risk the state imposing its politics via the purse. If they aren’t accepting the state’s money, it is an unacceptable imposition.

Yeah, but I know in England, and very possibly in Canada too, you can be charged with a hate crimes violation just for reciting in public the biblical passages regarding homosexuality. I know some street preachers have gone to jail for it in England.

The Bible is offensive to some because it is written by and about JOOOOOOS!

That's not why. The bible is offensive because it convicts the world of sin. No one wants to confront his own sin.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16)

It also points out that there is only one way to receive forgiveness of sins. The Jews sought it by the law of righteousness, by the works of the law. They stumbled at the stumbling stone, Jesus Christ, the "rock of offense". (Romans 9:33)

"Children, you are never to read the following Bible verses...........They contain information you are forbidden to hear"

That should cover the situation.
