Bill O’Reilly reveals major details about his future plans — and it includes a TV show

When Fox News announced in April they had fired network star Bill O’Reilly, many of the conservative commentator’s most loyal followers urged other conservative television networks to sign him, such as One America News, Newsmax or even TheBlaze.

But as TheBlaze reported on Friday, O’Reilly plans to hire several journalists and news producers to begin his own in-house video operation at BillOReilly.com. He even poached a producer from Fox News to work for him.

Now more details have been released about O’Reilly’s future.

According to Newser, O’Reilly said during at a public appearance on Long Island Saturday evening that he intends to launch a nightly 30 minute broadcast from a studio that resembles his longtime Fox show “The Factor.”

“I am starting my own operation. We are going to do that,” O’Reilly said, according to Newser.

“It’s basically an experiment to see how many people are going to want this service. That’s coming and will be here before September in a robust form,” he explained.

O’Reilly also hinted at the possibility that a new conservative news network will emerge from his show.

“I suspect there will be another network maybe merging with us. There will be a network that rises up because the numbers for Fox are going down,” he said.

During his remarks, which came during a question and answer session, O’Reilly also explained that in the coming weeks, he will release more evidence that proves his ousting from Fox was an organized effort by his detractors — mainly those on the left.

Since his departure from Fox, O’Reilly has hosted a regular podcast from his website.

Only half an hour?

I wonder how many of his regular features he'll be able to port over to the new gig.

Some people just always have to be on. Nothing wrong with that, I suppose.

Go Bill, just stay away from Beck.

You’re just a Horndog not a Nut.

Wish he would land a prime time spot on OANN.

They had him on last Thursday afternoon and mentioned how their viewers wanted him to come to the fledgling network.

Graham Ledger and Liz Wheeler are quite good but they need an established franchise name to contend with the other cable news outlets.

You read my mind. If the forever weepy Beck is involved I'll be skipping this new channel.

Liberals can be covered with vile flaws, yet they are rarely forced off the public stage. If a conservative has as as much as a pimple, he is hounded and banished.

I would give him a view but not on The Blaze. Never!

Bill’s ego may not allow him to take a job with One America News. He may consider them ‘too small and as yet undeveloped’ to provide him with the boost of exposure during his ‘Comeback Tour’.

It would be simpler if Fox just re-hired BOR and be done with it, sigh.

I miss the old Bloviator....he had evolved into a pretty good conservative in the past year, he is a personal friend of our President...and he had great guests. His show went by quickly because it was a GOOD production!

The Fox pre-dinner and evening time line-up is just not the same any more. In fact, it's rather pathetic.

I catch Tucker with some regularity and Hannity 100% regularly and that's about it with some exceptions once in a while.

However, I won't watch O'Reilly if I have to sit at a computer in another room to view his show, or if I have to $ub$cribe to some alternative network.....and most folks won't either.

They want to flop on the couch at night and watch their favorites appear on a regular channel they can click on at will.

I hope O'R realizes this, gets some other big-buck backers and big pundit names together to buys an existing cable network....one we can get to with a flick of the click.

I cant argue with you much but, streaming is the future of broadcasting.

All I want is to see the lame street news media go down the toilet.

I catch my news on Youtube now.

Yes, having The Five in the middle of those 2 shows is like finding a rancid breath mint in the middle of a steak sandwich. (Did that sound like Greg Gutfeld?)
Juan Williams and Dana Perino ruin it for me.

I wish him well, but mostly I wish that the newly gutted Fox would acquire some serious conservative competition ASAP. It’s fine with me if that competition employs O’Reilly, but please, not Beck.

No kidding..BOR was marginal at best, and clearly (based on clearly established facts) had no control of his genitals...it’s time for him to fade away...we have better conservatives to representive us.

I like OANN. It has news readers, kind of like the BBC without the bias.

I think it’s something more basic. I think he simply has no desire to move away from his home on Long Island where he can see the ocean. It’s his oasis; his slice of paradise and he wants to enjoy it in his waning years. That’s why they are remodeling his home office into a more professional looking studio. He’s off the air except for audio until Thursday.

I suspect FNC helicoptered him from his home to their studio daily so he could have the best of both worlds while working at FNC. That ain’t cheap but he made them lots of money.

I also don’t believe those women looking for a fat paycheck from lawsuits when they said he harassed them sexually. I just don’t buy it. Flirting is not sexually harassing and it’s NYC fer cryin’ out loud. To those women; a final fat paycheck was worth more than having a career in the news business. FNC and BOR should have fought them tooth and nail. I’m sure BOR wishes they had now. I’m so sick of women getting away with all this lying and getting paid for it. No wonder no one takes women seriously when they actually do get raped or harassed.

If Fox wasn’t trying to kill them selves via self inflicted GSW, they’d immediately hire Steyn and Dennis Miller to knock the prime time out of the park..

Can you imagine? Hannity, then Tucker, then Steyn, and finishing the night with Miller?

Too bad they aren’t interested....
