We figure out a way to split peacefully or delve into a partisan war that could kill millions. The only thing I am sure of this nation will not go on as things are now. It is an empire with over 300 million people and no cohesion at all. We are too divided now - irreparably. We have to look at reality.

You’d have to know enough history to be able to make that call. The USSR broke up peacefully because the vast majority no longer believed in it. Troops called up to fight deserted. Tanks refused to run people down. There’s no way to plan the break up an empire to happen peacefully. It either happens or it doesn’t because of how the population feels about it. You can’t control that and the way the left views things right now it won’t be peaceful for very long.
Do you really think the left would hesitate to run you down in the streets if they could get away with it? If you say they won’t let me point out that they just tried to kill 5 GOP congressmen practicing for a charity baseball game and their reaction it was generally to justify it.

The left can fight that peaceful, legal, and wholly constitutional change if they like, but they will all but guarantee that tensions in this country will ratchet up beyond the point of political solutions - virtually ensuring that this escalates into a level of national strife that hasn't been witnessed in America since the mid 1800s.
Yes, the left is already resorting to real and threatened violence against us, because they've lost the battle within the system. This is why the courts have gone rogue, why deep state apparatchiks and their bureaucratic flunkies are thwarting the President at every turn, and why the MSM has dropped all pretense of objectivity. Antifa riots in the street, while libtard entertainers allude to assassinating our CIC, and Democrat legislators lead crowds in chants of "F*** Trump!"
Just this week, we've seen a deranged liberal attempt to kill Republican legislators, and someone in Indiana was shot at, merely for displaying a MAGA flag on their truck. These are all signs that the left is already taking it to the next level.
If there's one thing we know about the left, it's that they have no respect for boundaries or limits. They are always pushing the envelope, and do not have the sort of adult faculties required to ascertain when enough is enough. Their cockamamie ideology compels them to continue wreaking havoc upon society until their fantasies are realized, which is never, so they continue their incessant assaults upon everyone and everything they deem to be impediments to 'progress'.
Where will it all end? When they finally get their wish, and have broken the social order so badly, that the only recourse left to the good citizens of this country is to declare war on them.

They’ve lost one major battle (Presidency), and look at the violence it has produced.

It isn’t going to happen peacefully. They are not about to give up their meal ticket and put themselves in a position that will have to earn their bread by the sweat of their brow. They will fight tooth and toenail to hold on to their serfs [taxpayers and workers].
Losing the presidency was merely the triggering event that woke them up to how much they've really lost (politically) since about 2010. Until the 2016 election, Dems were going along behaving as if they still owned the store.
The American public has already begun a rightward shift. They're going to shift even more rightward, due to the incessant negativity and outrageous behavior of the Dems.
They need to lose big in the mid term elections. I mean yugely. House and Senate seats, Governorships, state legislatures, and even local races. Maybe even a seat on the high court. They need a smackdown of historic proportions to knock some sense into them.
A political ass beating is the only civil means I can think of, that will quiet them down.

Their violence is confirmation of that. And if the election trend continues one can expect their violence to escalate in-step.
It would be nice if JUST ONCE the pubbies in congress would hand the dems a crushing LEGISLATIVE defeat.

Yes, but only at the thug street level. The power elite of the left will read such a beat down correctly, and will adopt a whole new tone, almost immediately.
They've already descended to a level of political powerlessness that they haven't suffered since the 1920s. One more right hook to the temple, and their party will be down for the count. But, they're liberals, so it will probably take a punch that hard to snap them back to reality.
If they suffer another electoral wipeout in 2018, their basic survival instincts will kick in. All of the nasty will go right out of them, as they regroup and adopt new tactics to win back the voters. During this phase, you can expect to see very public denunciations of hard left personalities and groups. Antifa, BLM, and other such foot soldiers will be sacrificed, just as the Dems sacrificed the KKK fifty years ago, when they became a political liability.
Of course, all this is predicated on the aforementioned electoral ass whupping next year. If they manage to stanch the bleeding at the ballot box, we're in for a rough four years.
