I’m getting ready to sail to Nepal to climb all 300 feet of Mount Everest.

Well the Cubs won the World Series and the world didn’t end, so there’s that.

That’s what I do not get about their argument - the earths average temperature has risen one degree. Yeah? And? Last time I checked, a degree change in temperature hasn’t killed any wildlife. I live on the east coast in the country where the temp can go from -10 to 100 yet every spring I still see deer, birds, wild turkeys, rabbits, turtles, squirrels, fish, snakes, bees, butterflies, racoons, otters, plants rebloom....all that life can withstand a 110 degree temp change but they can’t withstand a 1 degree change. Huh?

We’re drowning here in North Fort Worth, right at the moment. Water isn’t quite over the road, yet, so we’re clinging to hope.

I’m scared a little bit but in my fear I came up with some great ideas.

Since, so it seems many believe and maybe I should too, it would appear that humankind can control the weather, I say, who knew?

And so I put my plea to fellow Freepers on this forum that we not allow all the gubmints of the world to take over this climate change thing.

Imagine. We can determine when it should rain. We could pick early morn for the wet drops that would stop when the traffic gets heavy.

We could order the perfect amount of snow for the slopes, we could even determine, by democratic vote, when it will snow and when not.

If ever because not everybody skis.

The rice growers could put in an order for floods in early spring and all holidays would be void of wetness, chill or excessive heat.

So that’s been the secret right along. This climate change thing is way for the gubmint to stomp all over private capitalism and stop WE THE PEOPLE from making money on all this.

Oh....and no more floods. Anywhere.

My allergies are bad. My eyes itch SO much, no relief. Trump’s fault. BTW, thank you for getting rid of the Paris Accord, Mr. President.

Good view from my office of the downtown financial district. I’ve been watching people jump off of buildings all morning.

Yes, we are all ok now. But in 2100, New Orleans is going to be under water!

It got a little warmer than usual in my house last night. Then I opened a window to let the breeze in. After that I was totally fine. Global warming problem solved.

No!!!

I always have a chipmunk problem at my home, so I brought a small trap to catch them. It worked great last year.

This year it was working great and I almost got all of the little &#@&#ers, but thanks to Trump not signing the agreement and Global Warming the Squirrels are now all hungry and are taking the bait out of my chipmunk traps.

Global Warming is making the hungry squirrels fatter so the trap doors don’t close all the way and the squirrels escape with the bait.

Dam you Donald Trump, Dam you to Hell!!!!

I’m only 10 ft. above sea level, plus or minus. As such the level of the sea nearby is a concern to me.

But after living within a few hundred yards of the shoreline for 51+ years, I still remain dry.

It used to be a greater concern, for in times of heavy rainfall, high tides, there was some localized flooding.

That however was a function of the aforementioned conditions, plus the flood runoff infrastructure, which has been improved.

I’m talking coastal Orange County from Seal Beach to Newport Beach. But going back 100 years flooding could occur along the Santa Ana River further inland, and extend miles in several directions. That River is now fully contained in “banks” or whatever the things are called. Army Corps of Engineers worked on it a few times.

Oh my, we’re feeling the effects as I type. With the rain and sun it’s like an oven here in Southeast Texas with the global warming and President Trump doesn’t care about us.....oh wait......uh, never mind. :)

No dogs and cats playing together but a peacock showed up down by the barn. It must be a sign!

Or maybe it’s just looking for some seadheads outa the hay.
