When theres something strange and it don't look good, it can be quite a thriller of a ride, but lest you fall into the Twilight Zone by accident -or if you want to go looking for trouble- here are a few places for California Criptids and paranormal pacers.
Moro Rock Trail Tulare, CA Starting off easy in Tulare, theres the Moro Rock Trail, where the walk may be beautiful, but when you try to take a picture of the scenery, you may find yourself with some Phantasmic Photobombers trying to get in the picture. I wonder if they'll pose for a selfie?
Alum rock Trail San Jose, CA On a slightly more delayed schedule, the Alum Rock Trail in San Jose's state park has visitors reporting not spooky daytime apparitions, but unsettling nightmares for long after, as if being chased through the park by a sinister but unknowable presence. Maybe, like Orpheus, we shouldnt turn back around. It's for the best.
Lost Coast Trail Petrolia, CA Things get Twilight-Zone-esque on the Lost Coast Trail in Petrolia, where hikers report the timeline being a bit wibbly-wobbly, and space and time get a little bit warped. Some say theyve traveled back in time while hiking it, and disappeared for several minutes. A glitch in the Matrix? One too many drinks? I kinda want to find out. I wonder if youll run into any hikers from any other timeline? See the rest of the paranormal hiking trails here.

After listening to this guy, I am wondering if something odd isn’t happening in many places. It’s entertaining in any case.
Anyone been to the Oregon Mystery Spot?
I have.
I felt an equilibrium disturbance all the way out in the parking lot, which got more evident when I went into the area where they had marked the spot.
No, I wasn’t drinking; I have a hearing impairment and am sensitive to changes in position (such as elevators).
Notice how the number of folks claiming paranormal “experiences” has declined proportionately with the availability of video recording devices?
I guess Bigfoot, UFO’s, and Ghosts must have iPhonaphobia or something.
There are several of these around the country. The Oregon Vortex was the first - opened in 1930. California has two of these. The Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz opened in 1941 and is still going strong. The other one is between Santa Cruz and The Oregon Vortex on Hwy 101.
There are others in Michigan, South Dakota, Florida, West Virginia.
You are correct though. The advent of drones will produce all sorts of interesting video I am sure. If there are hovering spaceships from another galaxy, giant lizards in Loch Ness or Ape Men wandering around Idaho (or Bogey Creek) somebody shoot get some footage.
Wow, what a picture - is that for real? An owl will scoop up a full grown cat? Who wins in the end I wonder? Assuming the cat has claws.
For anyone interested in the subject, David Paulides Missing 411 series of books are not to be missed (pun intended).
Video recording devices? That's *so* 20th century...
They've got LOTS more techie stuff these days, don-cha-know:

And with all the paranormal shows on cable, I'd say the number of "experiences" has blossomed.

Hey now, I like these West Virginia guys:
It may be the moonshine, but they're sincere. In all their episodes, they at least never once shot each other! :-)
They actually believe there's a Bigfoot out in those Appalachia mountains. Go get 'em, boys!

Or, you could just bilk the gullible by misrepresenting material facts, and dematerialized spirits... the old fashioned way:

Yeah but it makes for entertaining TV!
The majority of any reported experiences, I believe, are hallucinatory. But like I said, it makes for entertaining reality TV.
Hey, if there’s a Paranormal/Cryptid ping list, please put me on it.
I got that magazine when it came out. Still have it, I think.
I actually do believe in ghost. I have witnessed too many unexplainable paranormal events in my parents house. No drinking or drugs and family, friends and neighbors have witnessed incidents as well. In many cases we don’t say anything about the spook in the house and a relative or friend will come over and visit and usually pull one of us aside and say, hey this weird thing happened at your parents house. Yeah we have heard that before.
As for UFO’s, never seen one but don’t discount the possibility of life in the universe besides on planet earth, it’s a big universe out there.
As for the bigfoots or buggers as they are known in the mountains of Kentucky and the south. I have never seen one, but I have had what would be described as bigfoot like behavior, that I can’t explain around my place in the mountains at times. So I won’t say I believe but won’t discount the possibility either.
With increasing likelihood of sightings if the soap is eaten... or smoked.
