There is the whole missing side of this equation. If anyone can build an argument that negative attacks caused a candidate to lose votes, it would be Trump. Comey and Podesta emails were not proven false. If Hillary can say Russia conspired against her, can Trump say MSM conspired to have Hillary elected?
Presidential elections are nasty, vicious whether from MSM, Russia, everywhere.
It is not like candidate Trump had all positive coverage and she got derailed.
It is quite something that for her to win she needed every conventional constructs aligned in her favor, Trump had none. Even more impressive win on his part.

Where to begin with Hillary’s excuses... I see she doesn’t bring up her private server at all — the reason and source of the Comey remarks and much of the Wikileaks. I see she doesn’t bring up the “deplorables and irredeemables” — do you think that may have had an impact on the election, Hillary? You were the most frightful candidate for President in our lifetime, yet you couldn’t see it in your miserable campaign that had no reason for being, no reason for your presidency.
