Are you like me? Are you completely baffled by the effort to turn Chelsea Clinton into the next big political “thing?” I’m not sure who’s behind it, and I’m really not sure why they think it’s a good idea, but that seems to be the left’s goal lately. Someone, somewhere, has decided that Democrats need a third bit at the increasingly-wormy Clinton apple.
To that end, the media is presenting the accomplishment-free banality of Chelsea Clinton as the progressives’ great white hope. Just look at this Variety cover:

On Friday, the NY Post ran an article about a 3-year-old tyke attacked by a pit bull dog. The article contained a quote from Chelsea Clinton about how bad the incident was. She had no connection to the incident, however, so the quote did seem gratuitous.
The next day, the article had been revised to include more details of the incident, but it had removed the Clinton quote. The editors must have taken a lot of guff for inserting it in the original article.
Why do you never comment?

You don’t want people to associate Chelsea with anything bad if she is not going to be the change agent. This is how you spin up a candidate.
Are you implying that the rumors of Chelsea being Webb Hubbell’s kid might be true?

She’s trying to stay relevant in a world that increasingly is past the Clintons. But there still are some 60-something liberal women who run magazines like Elle who have enough allegiance to the Sisterhood of Hillary to try to pump up her daughter.
People who do this add nothing and should be ignored.
Why does everybody pick on Chelsea Hubble?
The people of the Clinton Machine are probably behind attempts to push Chelsea to the forefront. They need a purpose — as in ‘keeping their jobs’ — in the Machine. They basically concede that Hillary is past her prime and will not be a contender in the future, so they are trying to use Chelsea as the presumptive replacement.
Um, Hillary?
The Clinton’s were smart to hire journalists as “experts”. They design the optics and the Spin for the narratives. They leak all of it as “news”. Media outlets become a Clinton PR firm, just printing articles written by Clinton employees.
It came undone when they lost the optics to social media. That’s why the Democrats are pushing the “Hate Speech isn’t Free Speech” narrative.
