Of course the boss has taken a great interest in this race since he lives in the area and knows Tom Price so well. I’ve taken only a passing interest in it, as much because of the creep factor evident in Democrat Jon Ossoff as anything else. If Ossoff manages to somehow grab Price’s old congressional seat in a district that Romney won by 23 points in 2012, but that Trump won by only 1 point in 2016, you know perfectly well what the media narrative will be.

I realize that the “R” side was split into 11 races, but this still doesn’t bode well for our side.
Ossoff is young and, by millennial estimates, thin and good-looking. That’s what our shallow society goes for. It’s largely how Obama made it in - ‘clean and articulate.’

Not a big Karen Handel fan, she is a RINO tool.....
However, although the district went for Trump by a narrow margin.... it will pull together for a “moderate” Republican.... 6-8 point win for Handel on the 20th....

Ossoff got less than half the vote with eleven candidates running as Republican. He didn’t even advertise his D party affiliation. I don’t like Handel. I even got polled to see if I would vote for her or Gray in a runoff. This has been an establishment win from the start. At least the sixth won’t flip just yet. Would definitely been a boost for their ego had they been able to shout to the rooftops about “voter backlash against the Trump agenda”.
Which means she's got a good shot in June....cuz Trump voters like myself sit quietly till voting day.

This morning on our local WSB radio they were leading the news with the “Trump effect” and how allegedly the more a candidate said they would support Trump, the worse they did.
Supported by an audio clip of never Trumper Erik Erickson who they keep on the air as an afternoon talk show due to his hatred of Trump.
The cool part is they dems wasted a bunch of money on another fail. Close but failed again. Cue Wile E Coyote/Road Runner.
