Glad I didn’t buy their brand at Costco this week. I will never buy another Dove product. Shame on them for offending normal people with these bullying ads.
Yeah, Lava’s great. For regular soap I’ve used nothing but Irish Spring for decades; they added some variety (with aloe, for example) but original Irish Spring is all one needs.
These articles disappoint me because I shop so little I can’t even boycott these pandering idiots...It is even worse with TV shows/movies; I haven’t seen a movie in a theater since one of the “Hobbit” movies, and if I do watch TV the show is a re-run at least 10 years old (”King of the Hill”, “Chappelle Show”, or something similar).
Dove has a big black consumer base-especially men ..based on anectodatal evidence.
I wonder what they will think about this.
I don’t need to know Dove’s reflections on life and culture. I just want to know why I should buy their soap.

I think a lot of companies use men for female models. Men with all kinds of female makeup on and likely female padding. I find it so disgusting. Let men be men, and women be women. Free genders to be who they were made to be!!!

Unilever wrecked Breyers and Hellmans by changing ingredients. Now with this idiocy they’ve wrecked a lot of other brands too.
Same here - I even have a small cache of the stuff in case they quit making it. That happened with Colgate Octagon soap and it's now going for ridiculous prices.
Grandpa's lasts a long time, too, yet is plenty sudsy enough. Never did like Dove, it seems to melt like an ice cube in warm water.
