HIC Says Leaks And Russia Probes On Hold Until James Comey And Rogers Again Testify On Capitol Hill

Devin Nunes Chief of the House Intelligence Committee has put the Committee on hold in their investigations of Trump Transition Team leaks and Russia/Trump probe. So Comey and Rogers are holding up major investigations. It seems this would be embarrassing to Comey, but honestly after just watching his questioning on Capitol Hill on March 20, 2017 by Trey Gowdy, I am questioning the mental health of Comey.

In trying to understand who could have briefed President Obama of the Trump surveillance which ended up in two newspapers, Gowdy repeatedly questioned Comey and gave him every chance to tell the truth. He just can’t seem to do it, and he must be in deep himself to be this secretive. In fact, it seems to me that he himself could have briefed President Obama of Trump surveillance.

The good news is the House Intelligence Committee’s probe of alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 elections, including potential ties between the Trump team and the Kremlin, is effectively on hold. There will no more questioning of witnesses until the two spy chiefs return to Capitol Hill for a still-unscheduled private briefing. They failed to show up for their private hearing with the Committee on March 28, 2017. So Comey has it all in his hands at this point.

They are thwarting the will of congress, refusing to appear before the duly elected representatives of the American people. These people don’t seem to think they are accountable to anyone.

They aren't "thwarting the will" of the Democrats in Congress, who believe they have the right to resist Republicans by any means necessary, and have no compunctions about doing so. They know their partners in the MSM will explain and justify whatever they do in the most convincing manner possible. They know they don't have to worry about the point of view of DJT or the Republicans being given the slightest respect, or even carried.
