Nice post! McCauliffe was deployed to Virginia with a handful of objectives for the Demo(n)crat party. He cares not one whit for Virginia, or this nation. He is all in for the big plan objectives of the liberal left. Back in the day, we'd call him a carpetbagger.

Several old line VA people are no doubt more than ready to “serve” this carpetbagger as they were “served” in Reconstruction. He just, for example vetoed a bill allowing concealed carry for people under court directed protective order (ie. abused spouses in danger of their lives, and others) that is to be able to carry a firearm for self-defence. This drunken clinton bagman a-hole vetoed that. He’s not long for it, in a legal sense as there is an FBI campaign probe against him, being pursued now by a more uh, aggressive prosecutor under Sessions. Tick. Tock.

I think it was supposedly spent on ad buys, which as you probably know gives a huge commission to someone.
It would be easy to prove if the ads ever ran.
