Someone stole a Secret Service agent's laptop right out of his car, but don't worry

We're sure this will be fine

Hey, give them this: It’s better than getting drunk and cavorting with Colombian prostitutes. And there’s always the possibility that those were the agents assigned to the Hillary detail and the horror simply drove them to it.

But you’d think - and maybe you’d be wrong - these sharpshooters with the dark glasses and the earpieces would be invulnerable to a schlocky type crime like getting your own laptop stolen out of your own car. They protect the life of the president, after all. Surely they wouldn’t let something as stupid as this happen to them.

Who leaves a laptop in an unattended car?
Seems like an invitation to a broken window and theft.

And he left it unlocked? Or the perp had the key?

Why did this agent have anything about Hillary on her computer at this point in time?

My work laptop never leaves my sight if I am traveling with it. It sure as heck wouldn't be left in a vehicle trunk.

Who keeps a computer with information that sensitive in an unoccupied car unattended? Smacks of gross negligence or coordinated, inside job with thief getting a heads up and “theft” giving everyone plausible deniability of involvement.

The initial radio news reports on ABC said, “... HER car.” Was there a change?

It should be a “former SS agent.”

Maybe she woke up in a manly mood today, and changed her socially constructed, gender identity.

It looks like a set up to me. The perp knew the house and car he was looking for. I would be drilling the agent who let the computer be stolen. He's either incompetent or complicit.

I haven’t heard anything about the SS person. Anyone know what has happened to her?

Freaks wandering around on the White House grounds. Stolen laptops. What the hell is going on with the Secret Service? It used to be one hell of a department.

Those SS and other government owned devices should have an explosive component with a remote detonator. When it shows that it is being handled, press the red button and get the thief.

Out of "his" car? The agent is female. I saw her name posted somewhere...can't find it now.

Maybe somebody was expected and the car was left unlocked for the purpose of allowing sensitive information to be collected?

This is one source of a leak.

Agent should be fired immediately regardless.
