Theres a reason why it usually doesnt end well when a kid goes straight from a life of party and privilege to the bright lights of a professional sports career. They have no clue how to handle the responsibility of fame and fortune. Just look at the fall of Johnny Manziel.
Theres a reason why it usually doesnt end well when someone mired in unemployed poverty wins the lottery and lands in the lap of luxury. They are oblivious about how to maneuver the challenges of money and power. Just look at the depressing case of David Lee Edwards.
And theres a reason why it usually doesnt end well when someone who lacks any meaningful or serious understanding of political philosophy and ideology is thrust in front of a camera and promoted as a conservative spokesman. They are pitifully unprepared to exercise the disciplines of reason and discernment. Just look at the sorry spectacle of Tomi Lahren.

That pic in the black, looking over her shoulder, reminds me of a young KellyAnne Conway.
She expressed an opinion that was grossly out of touch with her audience. She may well become the next Arianna Huffington.
Yep and skid row churches could have much better attendance if they gave away free booze.
OH MY GOD.. we finally get someone that MAYBE young people can relate to and all you want to do is tear her down. She represents a lot of young Conservatives THEY ARE PRO CHOICE. My God, no wonder we never succeed.

So wait, we are supposed to put the future of the millennial vote on the shoulders of a flip-flopping (altho very trendy and good looking) 24-year old? This reminds me of the arguments coming from Rubio camp and Jeb et al that we must enlarge our tent and appeal to the Hispanics if we ever want to win an election. Not that we should not want millennials or Hispanics to vote for our candidate, but I don’t believe that we change our core beliefs in order to accommodate them...We are not pro-choice party...Never were. BTW REMEMBER, WE WON THE ELECTION; PRES. TRUMP DID IT HIS WAY (Pro-Life)...He supported what he thought was right and good for the country—not what was necessarily polling well. I am sure you recall President Trump’s very strong comments regarding abortion at the final debate.

Sorry, but from what I read, I don’t think abortion was the pivotal issue in the election for millennials. I just don’t. They did not flock to Bernie because of his stance on abortion. Frankly, I don’t even remember abortion being an issue at that time. ** This poll of millenials voting issues backs up my comment. Their bottom line, it was the economy.

However, if you wish to continue to believe abortion is the defining issue of millennials, then I suggest you do some reading...Millennial views on abortion are complex and conflicted. Here are 3 that back up my point that might help.

I would also remind you that when McCain was running for President, Meghan McCain was going to pull in the the millennials...then she went pro-gay...Never happened. They did not vote for McCain.
Maybe conservatives would do well to outline a consistent message and try to inform and educate millennials as to why conservatism or conservative libertarianism resulting in lower spending, fewer regs, smaller government, etc. is in their best interest—not that it is super cool and trendy.
Personally, I think the best way to reach millennials is to draw a direct line between the government spending/regulations/etc. and increases in college costs, lack of jobs, etc...This country has huge issues centering on economics.
From additional polling noted in the articles I provided, the millenials don’t like capitalism (42 percent of 18-to 29-year-olds supported capitalism, while 51 percent opposed it), so I think we have our work cut out for ourselves to provide some sound civic and economic education before the next election.
BTW,
1. Bernie brought in the millenials in droves...I don’t think he was young, trendy, sexy, etc. by any definition. They were attracted to his IDEAS.
2. My millennial kids don’t need a view-shifting sexy trendy daisy-duke-shorts-clad girl to lure them to “Constitutional Conservatism,” tho one might like to ask her on a date ;)

What it means to be a Conservative:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Upholding life is foundational to Conservatism.
I was pro choice for awhile (influence of Ayn Rand and all that), reading two people who hated each other (Ann Coulter and Jonah Goldberg) changed my view to pro life. She is still young and people sometimes evolve.
Tomi could change her position on this later in life. I know I had and unlike me, she is pretty.
Personally, I just don’t put much, if any, stock in talking heads.
I don’t need others to tell me what to think. I try to pay attention to what’s going on and then do my own thinking.
So, she’s pretty and probably not an SJW. That’s two wins for her.
We know Laz would hit it.
Some male conservatives think with their Southern head. Guilty.
A lot of us would hit it, even if we think she’s a dumb blond.
