Professor: Trump Building Wall Because Mexicans "Can Go [Expletive] Themselves"
The Social Memo ^ | 3/18/17 | Aurelius

Posted on 03/18/2017 1:50:24 PM PDT by rightistight

On his personal blog, Assistant Professor of Humanities at Shimer College Adam Kotsko argued that the real reason behind the "extreme vetting" proposed by President Trump, as well as the reason the President has proposed building a wall between the United States and Mexico, is that "we don’t owe them anything and they can go [expletive] themselves."

Professor Kotsko detailed his beliefs in an article titled, "How will we know it’s over?"

Professor Kotsko "The Trump budget proposal is a nightmare — petty and vindictive, short-sighted and cruel," he begins his piece. "Inexpensive programs that literally save lives are being cut, apparently out of sheer spite."

Kotsko continues, "Why do we need to turn away refugees? The official reason is that they may pose a threat, but surely the real reason is that they are not our problem, so they can go [expletive] themselves."

President Trump's proposed wall between Mexico and the United States is based on similar logic, he writes, stating, "why do we need to build a wall to keep out the Mexicans? Supposedly they’re stealing our jobs, leeching off our public services, and committing crimes. But come on: the real reason is that we don’t owe them anything and they can go [expletive] themselves."

"Any idiot," Kotsko argues, knows that these ideas "will thwart human potential at best and kill people at worst." But Trump supporters, he adds, "will follow him to their death if he lets them hurt the people they hate along the way. The amount of pent up resentment and ugliness he has brought out into the open has already been more corrosive to our frayed social fabric than we can fully grasp."

The professor then says he hopes President Trump's supporters "don’t start publicly saying that the poor, elderly, and disabled should just die if they can’t fend for themselves."

If they do, he warns, this "is no longer a society. It’s a death camp waiting to happen."

Negroes alive today have benefited from slavery. How many are trying to emigrate to Dahomey or Liberia?

Leech. Leach would work but it is much more gradual.

Using trigger words is cute, if you are speaking to the ignorant and uninformed.

The difference is quite easy to grasp: Even Mexican rapists and murderers can understand it : if you are forced into those "camps," it's a death camp.

If you drift there willingly or through stupidity, IT'S A SUICIDE CAMP.

Recent history supports my statement.

The freedom to choose suicide has become a human right.

I guarantee this 'tard has no idea he's making a fool of himself when he says this thinking he's talking about us.

Slaveholders in America North and South started as color blind but Negroes held up better and cost less. There were many local Indian slaves in the Southern colonies/states until it was obviously just not economical. They expired quickly. There were white slaves from Ireland. Most were contracted for a temporary slavery as indentured servants (for some it was a long temporary) and some were outright slaves. Africans were cheaper because the Arabs and local chiefs and kings in Africa were prolific producers. The trade was well developed and there were African slaves in Europe centuries before there was an America and the Arab lands had copious quantities of them and still trade them and employ them and had to return to the well a lot because they castrated the men.

How did I benefit from slavery if my family was not here when it went on?

This so-called “professor” is proof that a nitwit can become a “professor”. He is so full of hate, yet society allows him to be in close contact with our youth. This guy should be waterboarded to discover which planet he hails from. My only hope is that he somehow self-loathes enough such that he ends it.

Whether or not your individual ancestors owned slaves, you as a white person have benefitted from slavery and are complicit in it. Sorry.

Sorry?
Sorry for what?
Sorry that you are an idiot savant with a degree?
Sorry that you could never find a real job?
Sorry that you can't grasp reality?
Sorry that your grasp of language definitions is non-existent?

It can be demonstrated by historical facts that the greatest beneficiaries of the "benefits" of slavery are the recipients of generations of indolent, ignorant non-producers in the last 60 years. Contributed zero and producers of endless copies of themselves, whether native born or invaders.

The logical fallacy is easy to see, but impossible to swallow.

Any infrastructure that existed prior to 1865 that may still exist, on upon which further infrastructure was based is the "result" of slave labor.

Might as well argue that the horses (and their descendants,) pulling the wagons which labored since the nation began also are owed a special permanent moral debt.

The only solution is for this man to work many jobs to support all of the downtrodden people that he feels responsible for.

The line can begin on his left.

"An assistant professor from a nothing Left Wing liberal arts college in Chicago few even know exists."

Shimer closed for a while due to low enrollment, back in the 80's. It's known as a school for dumb rich kids who can't get make it at other schools. The lack of academic rigor is striking even by today's ridiculously low standards.
