For almost 20 years now Freerepublic has been my one and only go to site.
I grew up on FR.
FR helped me hone my conservatism, and taught me that it is more than simply a hatred of leftism (which I still possess).
In a way FR was the conservative parent I never had, which is kinda sad.
However, in the last several months, I’ve become a yuge fan of The Donald. You’re correct: those kids are monsters!
I love them.
I fear too many of us are gosh, I hate to say it, dying off, but I see fewer articles posted, less commentary. And the site went down during the Inaugural. That was terrible for us. I’ve had to broaden, start perusing other sites. It’s quite a bother. I do contribute though.

17 years for me here...of FR...it is just nice to see enthusiasm for conservative principals. One thing..they never hold back there on The Donald...
