Just wondering about all the old computers that Obama administration used in the White house. When President Trump got there they were all new computers. Anybody know what happen to them?
I have been thinking of this. Where are they? Who ordered what?
Obama disposed of them because of the info that possibly could be found on them.
All the computers were replaced on Jan. 1. Where are the hard drives of the computers that were replaced? Surely they contained government records.
At a minimum, I’m sure they follow security standards that wise business implement. That is, all hard drives and other storage devices are shredded after going through some procedure to archive documents/data that need to be saved for legal purposes.
Shredding means physically shredding them by dumping them into an shredding machine.
I thought once something was on the internet it could never truly be erased?
There are computers that are purposely never connected to the Internet.
That is illegal in government.
Specifically, what is illegal?
I don’t know, but my guess is that first they were wiped clean to delete everytning, so nothing could be recovered, then they were “recycled” — melted down as scrap metal, just to be sure.
That would be my guess too.
They are in my basement.
New computers on Jan 1 probably include bugs that send all info directly to Obama and Valjar. New computers should have been installed on Jan 21, not Jan 1
You didn’t read my full post. I did say that after they were wiped clean, they were physically destroyed, just to make sure.
I read here, in a comment, that a FReeper said O took them with him to his new fortress. There was a photo of some truck loading them or something.
Probably either at Obama’s “Shadow White House” or at the headquarters of Organizing for America.
Ah, got it. Thanks.
the zero couldn’t afford to chance loss of control.
1. To destroy assets depending on the capitalization limit
2. To destroy data contained on those assets
