A second consecutive day of protests against U.S. President Donald Trump's month-old administration appeared to lose momentum on Friday, with rallies in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York attracting small yet enthusiastic crowds.
Activists had called for a "general strike" a day after thousands of immigrants across the United States stayed home from work and school during "A Day Without Immigrants" to highlight the contributions of foreign-born workers to the American economy.
Strike4Democracy, one of the groups organizing Friday's strike, said more than 100 public protests were expected around the country.
In New York, more than 16,000 people responded to a Facebook page set up for a rally at Washington Square Park in Manhattan, but fewer than 200 protesters were at the park an hour after the posted start time....

Little by little they will accept reality, 90% of them anyway. They will go back to their lives.
It’s sad that the pro-Trump side can’t have all of these protests but we all have jobs to go to.
Our time would be better spent registering voters.
And maybe even Soros will tire of paying them to whine.

only “about” 60 showed up in Los Angeles. Given media exaggeration of anti-Trump events, it was probably closer to 30.

Keyboard commandos. Their bikes had flat tires and their moms refused to drive them to the protest until they cleaned up the Cheetos crumbs.
Could it be they haven’t been paid?
I’ll bet that the majority of the 16,000 people who said they were coming were pro-Trump people trolling the opposition, building up their hopes for a massive turnout, only to dash them on the rocks of reality.
So how did the “day without immigrants” turn out? First of all, did their employers agree to pay them if they didn’t show up for work.
Second, you’ll notice they’re not saying “day without ILLEGAL immigrants”. If they do that the employers are admitting to knowingly hiring illegal immigrants.
I think you mean the other 40 - 50 million illegal aliens did not participate, sir.
