I’m glad that K.T. is remaining. She had been a Trump support from early in the primaries. From the pre-inaguration talk I recall hearing on conservative news, she was hired to be on the NSC with whomever was selected to be the NSC head.

You posted: “...but I would work for him again.”

I hear you loud and clear. Harward is a man for whom would ‘ride into hell’ with. those leaders are truly rare.

Bannon was a Lieutenant, O-3, equal to an Army or Air Force Captain. He was NOT, after 7 years in the Navy a Captain, O-6, when he left active duty. He was a surface warfare officer, ran the engineering section and was later the ship’s navigator for the destroyer to which he was assigned. He may have done intel during his Pentagon tour.

A very good story about Steve Bannon and the affect of his Navy career on him during his service under Presidents Carter and Reagan:

Fills in the Why he is a conservative and a Republican

“Not sure high level spooks get fired. You fire them, they go work for the other side, as consultants. You jail them, they start squealing.

I think high level spooks just “disappear”

In this case, that might be a good idea. Would set the tone. A few of them fall dead from heart-attacks and boating accidents and see what happens.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not to mention falling off of high balconys and “suicides in parks”.
Hey, crap happens!
Interesting. And Bannon is ex-Navy, so he probably knows first-hand of Vice-Admiral Harward's reputation. They both started at about the same time in the late 1970s.
I’m not speculating. It is a fact and public knowledge with an article right here on FR.
PING!!!!
Article and MANY great comments
Knowing that so many of Obama’s people are still doing his bidding and leaking confidential information to the liberal media, Harward had to find a way to keep his unit secure.
So Harward is making a seriously smart move, he is doing a FULL housecleaning of Trump’s National Security Council’s staff. Harward is bringing in HIS OWN team and not trusting anyone else with sensitive material.
thanks WildHighlander57
Good enough. Few men and no women can perform those duties adequately.
While it’s not unusual for presidents to have private consultants and confidants, counterintelligence really isn’t Mike’s specialty. Although we all received some training in counterintelligence, Mike was a military intelligence generalist with a lot of operational experience in the unconventional/irregular warfare arena. Someone like Paul Redmond would be more suited to a counterintelligence advisor role, whether official or unofficial. You can bet that the media is already attuned to such a possibility.
I was in our Embassy in Tehran on February 14, 1979 when it was overrun the first time by the Mujahedin. We were held hostage for several hours until deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs Yazdi negotiated our release. Still the Embassy compound was occupied for nearly 4 months by them and finally on November 4, 1979 the takeover and hostage taking began for 444 days. Fortunately, I left on March 31, 1979.
The Carter administration was a disaster when it came to Iran. I could go on at some length about the mistakes made and how the fall of the Shah still impacts us today. The outcome could have been much different under a different President.
>Too many left-wing idealouges in the White House and in our intelligence agencies have made President Trump their target.<
.
Of all the agencies, I distrust the CIA the most considering the religious persuasion of the person who was in charge of the agency and how pissed he was when Trump decided to let him go.
