Same has happened to a good friend who has had 3 accounts banned in the past two weeks.
I first got banned by posting on our local, dying, leftist print newspaper website using Facebook. They must have complained to Facebook. I then registered several different names, etc... and before long, those get banned as well. I don't bother to change my computer mac address or URL, so its probably easy for the Gestapo at Facebook to learn its me.
I’m confused about all these “FB keeps cancelling my account!” claims. I don’t shy away from posting pro-right-wing stuff, and calling out the left-wing, and haven’t had any such problems ever. Unless you’re being REALLY aggressive about it, posting lots of objectionable material, and going out of your way to acquire lots of friends really fast, just to plainly piss people off, I don’t see FB cancelling an account. Only other rational is you _did_ legitimately earn a ban, and they’re trying to keep you off (pretty easy to data-mine your info to identify who you really are).
