The nuke option may not be needed.

23 dims up for election in 2018. There will be defectors.

Past time for McConnel/Ryan to call for a 1 hour recess of Congress and let the President make recess appointments of his cabinet and Supreme Court pick. They won’t do it of coursed, they won’t even evoke the nuke option or expand it to cover the SC pick. It may be a GOP controlled congress, but the DNC still seems to have their spherical manhoods in a firm grasp. The swamp is still overflowing with sludge.

Trump may need more gatherings to show he still has support. They are creating the impression that everybody is against him and there may have to be huge visible proof that this is a lie.

That should be the ONLY filibuster.

Yeah, because these filibusters aren’t actual filibusters like in the movies, but procedural maneuvers to prevent things from closing. So they can drag it out for a long enough time until someone says enough is enough.

Expect the uni-party members with an “R” by their party affiliation, to roll over and play dead.

Wonder if Claire McCaskill will back another stooge in the GOP primary to try and win again when she should be a dead duck.

She's only still there now because of Todd Akin.

If they allow a filibuster, it needs to be a real “Mr Smith Goes to Washington” type of filibuster. Watching sickly, 70+ year old ‘rats drop during speeches could be amusing for a while.

“”This is a stolen seat. This is the first time a Senate majority has stolen a seat,””

What seat was stolen? What the Sam Hill is he talking about? Must they all sound like riddles?

From what I gather, it was Barack Obama’s seat to fill, since Antonin Scalia died in February of 2016, and thus the GOP majority in the Senate “stole” it from Obama by not giving Merrick Garland a hearing or confirmation vote.

I think Elaine Chao has already been approved but I could be wrong. Trump better have a “come to Jesus meeting” with wimpy McConnell.
