"Speed" is sometimes used to describe the number of gears available at the rear wheel only, ignoring the number of front gears, but I'm not seeing anything indicating that this bike has more than two available gear ratios in total.
Two speeds is just not enough for anything but riding on flat terrain. Even my childhood Raleigh bike had a Sturmey-Archer three speed shifter.

Not sure why Ikea decided to build a city bike. There are already tons of bike manufacturers offering bikes of every possible type and price point.

I want to know more about the 2 speed automatic transmission.
Essentially you peddle with the same load and there are ininite gears that automatically go up and down depending upon what load the bike is carrying and the terrain. High Low are the two “speeds” you control; are you on the highway or in a hilly area?

These were insanely expensive at one point in time (> $1,000) just for the transmission. For this in a $400 bike is incredibly impressive.

Big problem: the front disc brake. It looks sporty, but if the spokes are not VERY strong and well tuned, in a hard stop the hub stops and the tire continues to rotate a bit, bending the rim to the point where it must be replaced. There is nothing wrong with rim brakes.
The bike has fenders to stop splashes.
I don’t know how well made it is, but I will see.

...there are ininite gears that automatically go up and down depending upon what load the bike is carrying and the terrain. That's a continuously variable transmission. I did not see in the bikes' product description or reviews that it has such a feature. It has two speeds. If you go faster than a given velocity, it automatically shifts up. Slower than a certain velocity, it shifts down.
I hope I am wrong, because two speeds is not enough.
