God,I just scrolled through about 20 of then and they were all born AFTER me——the clock is ticking.

I don’t know if he got anything patented. It seemed like he was full of innovative ideas that would be of the kind many big businesses would go to lengths to try to stop (think along the lines of inventing a car engine that could get 100 miles to the gallon). I’m struggling to recall what it was he did invent in particular (I’d have to go hunt back for the posts or FReepmails, perhaps from a decade ago).

Ah, don’t fret. If you still have your health, go out there and live. I’m sure the “youngsters” since passed would all give you that advice if they could. Look at President Trump, after all !

This must have been posted while I was not terribly active on FR, for I only found it when inquiring about Black Elk. I knew him only from FR, but I regarded him a spiritual giant. From his bio, I guess I was right. May he quickly reach the beatific vision.
Nooooo. I loved BlackElk. We used to fight shoulder to shoulder against the FReeper hordes that would attack Generalissimo Franco. He would always hold the center with his giant wit. I have been off FR for a while and came back to research President Trump’s SCOTUS pick and I went to look my old compatriot up. RIP friend. May you have had many conversations with Franco
