Brexit is terrible because it deprives young Britons of the right to choose where to live, study and work.

I don't have the right to live, work and study anywhere I want. Every sovereign country on the planet has the right to say yes or no to me.

I guess it’s a WSJ type deal where if you hit it from google you get the article but if you hit it from a deep embedded link you do not get the article.

Thx for link to article....

The effects of fraking technology on the world's oil market was not in any of the predictive economic models that I saw ... Most reports and models are based on what's already happened rather than accurately predicting rising trends.

Few get the crystal ball view correct.

But I will venture to say that Trump is the fuel additive that will drive a new entrepreneurial wave and again baffle the talking heads that are forecasting gloom from his presidency.

Deprives them of a ‘European Identity’?

Normal British citizens have said they want to be British citizens, not EU citizens.

That was what Brexit was.

And, they are still European.

“Euroepan identity” is a direct copy of the “Soviet people” concept.

The entire article was not that bad, but that phrase also struck me as fully illustrative of the inability of progressives to accept any reality save for their own.

A true “one world” as envisioned by the less intellectually endowed would be closer to 1984 than then paradise imagined by them.

Yes, they will always be British. The EU can’t take that away and now they can’t take anything else.

I totally admire the British for taking this step. I will buy British, actively look for their flag, when I buy anything as soon as it is truly Brexited.

They will always be European. They just can’t help that part.

In this case, while we tend to look at the EU as tyranny by bureaucrat, and the Soviet Union as tyranny by bureaucrats and by all other elements of the state...in the end, the EU will be the same, because that is where those things go.

It deprives them of a European identity

I am sure most would rather have their NATIONAL identity back.
