I do not think this is far fetched at all. Government agencies, and intel agencies in particular, are not going to give up their way of doings things. They will use every avenue available to take down Trump. DJT better be damn careful whose literally covering his back.

I think Trump is surrounding himself with loyal and capable people who know where the pockets of resistance are within the government bureaucracy and will take actions to neutralize them. They won’t allow the nefarious schemes of agency people to subvert the will the of the president.

Yes, what has happened to this? No one in the LSM is mentioning this, and the New York Times mentions the whole hacking scam story in every article, no matter what the subject, as if it were true, even going so far as to say that Trump seems to have admitted that the Russians influenced the election, when in truth he said just the opposite.

I read that the head of the committee said they wouldn’t, but shortly thereafter, changed his mind. To add to the gloom, Obama has just put DHS over the election system(no more unexpected wins) and signed an order for NSA to release all the snooping data they have collected (reckon they know how to manufacture incriminating evidence?)
Obama pretty well politicized key positions throughout our government and I suspect the disrespect we see towards Trump is simply their way of acting out. Trump will need to make new appointments, inserting people who know they work for the United States, not a political party or idea (man made climate change, globalization).
Federalizing the elections needs to be undone ASAP. It would never survive a Supreme Court case.
I worry more about international agreements made without the new administration’s input or consent.

Trump is the nationalist coup. The deep state is the counter coup. It is essentially a deep global sunni state. What it potentially even more amazing, it that this meeting was the one that Trump walked into all alone. No one knew where he was. Incredible. To be all alone, running a sting cause you got a leak, and be slapped with this. He should fire the top 25 at every agency. Label them traitorous and strip their retirements.
