Dear Melinda,
I see you’re making progress; 8 weeks and you’ve already moved on from “denial”
to stage two in the grief process – anger. That’s okay, let it all out, we can take it. Heck, being your intellectual inferiors we probably won’t even understand what you’re saying, so let it fly! And although you’re in the business of marketing yourself, I see you’re blinded by your grief so perhaps I can help you simplify your message so the stupid people in Flyover will totally understand how the coastal intelligentsia feel about them. How about this:
Dear Flyover America: you are all stupid, violent, racist, misogynistic bigots and deserve to live in shitholes that I would never think of living in let alone relocate my business to. (Although I would love to move into your beautiful rural areas and make them into a liberal paradise; so just sit down and shut up or go away.)
Coming soon to a rural town near you
I know, Melinda, that you and your ilk will never be able to fathom why Trump won so I fear you will never reach step five which requires acceptance. So I guess my advice would be to embrace your grief; most likely you will be living with it for at least the next 8 years. Welcome to our world.

She thinks she knows all about rural Americans, just like the KKK thought they knew all about blacks, or the Nazis knew all about Jews, or the English knew all about the Irish, or the Imperial Japanese knew all about the Chinese, and so on, and so on...
It is really no different. Just prejudice.

My rural home is beautiful. I sit on a pristine stream surrounded by woods. We see regular deer, fox, beaver, and recently even a bear. Our stream is full of clams, smallmouth bass, largemouth, cat, gar, etc.
In many ways, it’s a paradise.
But the entire county has only 27,000 people. If you took every dime that these folks make a year, assuming a 30,000 average, because we aren’t rich, you’d get a measley 200,000,000 dollars, assuming families of 4.
Our county is larger than our metropolitan counties in this state.
If a mile of highway costs a million to build, we could build only 200 miles of it, in a county roughly 40 miles wide and 40 miles deep.... Roads are probably the most important need of this county....not fiber optics.
And, of course, after taking EVERYTHING to do so, we’d have starving people, no schools, nothing else.
You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about.
However, we do have some of the hardest working people you’ll find anyplace. They don’t mind the sun, the outdoors, the cold, and heavy lifting.
We’re an ideal place for a manufacturer who’d want workers who actually work.
But snobs like you want us automatically overlooked because we don’t have metropolitan operas and chamber orchestras.
Reading her advice is like reading an article on gardening telling me how I can attract more slugs and other pests.
Like most socialist, they claim to be tolerant yet attempt to demonize anyone with a different opinion.
Tolerance gets you city streets smelling like sewers.
Tolerance gets you real hate crimes.
Tolerance gets you unlivable cities.
So please, do us all a favor. Keep your tolerance to yourself.
I think you need to read Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games trilogy. Why? Because New York City, Washington, DC, Chicago, the Los Angeles area, the San Francisco Bay Area, Portland, OR and Seattle, WA have essentially become the fictional capital of Panem--indulging in excesses while ignoring the plight of everyone else. That's why Trump tapped into the anger of "everyone else" and got voted into office.
As I sit here looking at the view down the valley, drinking my morning coffee, I thank the Lord for all my blessings including not having that as my next door neighbor.
So...whites took his advice and fled to the suburbs, where they attracted business and skilled workers, like Farmington Hills.
Ever since Young left, Detroit is an urban warzone, with abandoned buildings and stray animals roaming the streets. Parts of the city has even reverted to nature.
They voted for exactly the same policies that would supposedly help "the browns," as this woman calls them (typical liberal, shows both her elitism and her racism by projection)...and as predicted, they got the government they deserved.

I want to thank the woman for making us aware that quiet suburbs and rural towns are excremental. Now that she mentions it, we do have an inner hate when our Mexican neighbor brings over vegetables from his garden and our son scoops the snow off their driveway.
From now on we’re not going to hang bags full of fresh bread on our neighbors’ doors. We’ll pee on their door instead and break their windows. We should all go urban.
I recall walking down a street in Calcutta and smelling urine and then feeling relieved that it was horse urine from some horse carriage rides nearby and not human piss from men going in the gutters.
Notice the tone frequently found in the entitled LEFTIST, the ‘gibmedat’ mentality. She wants all of the infrastructure already built, she wants certification of tolerance and diversity, before she would consider such a business location. Note the unwillingness to extend her own effort to build her ‘utopia’?
Add to that, the whitest team in Silicon Valley.
So her marketing plan is to alienate a massive population of potential clients and aim for a less significant opportunity instead. Would seem safe to assume their services would also reflect ideological biases, insult fly-over America and as a result return lower ROI for her clients.
How could any competent business leader sign on with such a firm for marketing services? How could a successful marketing professional believe it a good career choice to enlist with them for employment?
Such hate in this woman demonstrated by her words. It’s sad and should be concerning to her clients and colleagues.
