Get government totally out of the healthcare business...health care costs come down at least 60% and Social Security recipients can buy a health policy with their SS check. (~$100. p/p per month). Eliminating Medicare/Medicaid/MediCal would save a trillion dollars per year so the Feds could probably even raise SS payments to help out with the policy cost.

I don’t think you will find too many insurance companies will to cover a 75 year old male for 100 per month, especially if he had had heart issues or cancer in his past.
