Chuck Schumer threatens Trump over SCOTUS nominee - endless filibuster for any nominee?

Dems digging the hole deeper

Democrats don’t understand what happened in the 2016 election. They don’t know why they lost and they have no concept of how badly they were beaten. I’ve made this point a hundred times. We see their denial in their post-election defiance, their doubling-down on people like Pelosi, and the bitter name-calling aimed at anyone who didn’t support Hillary Clinton. They cling to popular vote totals, buoyed by left-wing superstates New York and California, so they can whistle past their electoral graveyard and their brutal 2018 map.

Here is what I fear will happen:
1. The Democrats will filibuster any conservative nominee.
2. Trump will ask the Senate to use the nuclear option.
3. “Courageous” Senators McCain, Graham, Collins and other RINOs will join with a number of Democrats to “save the senate” and block the nuclear option like was done by the gang of 14 in 2005 when the Democrats were blocking all of Bush’s conservative nominees. They will agree on a moderate candidate like Anthony Kennedy.
4. The moderate candidate will be confirmed and the opportunity for a constitutionally conservative court will be lost.

Hope that I am wrong.

Just received a big purchase order from a company in NY. I did not realize the sales tax is 8.75% WOW

Add the high income tax and, if you live in Yonkers or NYC, the local income tax as well. Then, add an ever increasing number of fees and 'non-tax' taxes and you realize why the outflow of people in New York State is 2:1!

The Dems got away with OBSTRUCTING the hell out of Republicans, starting with Reagan. The reason was simply because the media would cover for them and the Republicans were either TOO STUPID (most of them) or unable to effectively get around the media.

Trump doesn’t have that issue - and when he starts tweeting about Democrats in the Senate obstructing everything he does, and making it clear that they will pay the price for that in 2018 - the Dems will start to fall into line.

Just watch.

I just hope and pray that you are right. McConnell and his ilk are snakes. Worthless and incurable snakes, not to be trusted at all
