I wonder what the real reason they want a regime change in Syria is.

The real reason is to install a puppet Saudi government. The Saudis invested over 300,000,000 bucks in HRC’s campaign expecting Syria to be handed over to them by the new US regime. Oops!

Me too. One thing for sure: It creates refugees who can be converted to Democrat votes.

But that looks more like a "benefit" than a motive. I hope you get some comments on your query.

As the last line in the source article says:
“If this is true, it’s is CHILLING! It means that all the Syrian refugees coming here and migrating throughout Europe are being dispersed for a reason. Can you say Trojan Horse?”

According to the clip, a pipeline coming from Saudi ... the terrorists are protecting it’s construction by terrorizing and destroying any opposition, including getting the information OUT there ... the “civil war” dominates everything

I think it’s because they (Obama) thinks Assad isn’t his kind of radical Muslim. Obama has a history IMO of supporting radical rebel jihadists in ‘regime’ change.

Did nothing when the young people rose up in Iran to suppress radical Sharia based tyranny, supported Muslim Brotherhood overthrow of Egypt and Libya....

Nothing this man has done furthers the cause of peace in this world. His Nobel Peace Prize was blasphemy.

**************

Installation of the Muslim Brotherhood in power. Think Egypy, Libya. That was the objective.

Syrian regime change is a big operation with a few main conspirators, each with their set of interests.

I am sure that oil and gas profits figured heavily for the Saudis and the Turks (especially Erdogan himself, whose family has profited greatly from oil smuggling). The strategic impacts of who controls the oil and gas wealth is a major concern for everyone.

No doubt Wahabbi expansionist ideology/hatred of Shi’ites had a big role as well, for both the Saudis and Erdogan.

Countering Iranian influence is a strategic concern of the USA, as well as the Saudis and Turks.

Obama, in my opinion, is a communist first. Any religion, be it islam or Rev. Wright’s “Christianity”, is just a means to political ends for him. I assess that the whole Arab Spring drive for regime changes (including Syria) was a drive to install Muslim Brotherhood governments, to strengthen anti-Western/anti-Capitalist forces.

The Muslim Brotherhood has long since been co-opted to be a (totalitarian) political movement with a religious excuse - and has long been a client of the hard left (first the Nazis and later the Soviets) and the Saudis.

The Muslim Brotherhood suffered a particularly harsh defeat at the hands Hafez Assad (the current President’s father), and they have long harbored special hatred for them.

I think it may have to do with keeping Saudi Arabia happy.
