50 yrds? Good grief, 100-150 yrd accuracy is just fine with an AK. Now, granted, you may not be able to keep a quarter at that range, but who the heck cares. Tear up a 2 liter bottle at 100 yrds is good enough.

You can always go with the .308 version if you like AKs and want the extended range and access to American (.308 Win) or NATO (7.62x51) ammo supply.
