""BREAKING: @SenateMajLdr Mitch McConnell To Surrender FCC To Dems In Trade To Get His Own #NeverTrump Staffer On FERC""

Multiple DC sources have confirmed to GotNews that an effort to give Democrats control of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for months into Trump’s presidency is actually being led by Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell himself.

McConnell has reached an agreement with President Barack Obama and Democratic Senator Harry Reid to trade away control of the FCC for in exchange for confirmation of his own staffer, Neil Chatterjee, to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

The FCC has vast jurisdiction over the Internet, television, and radio. It is one of the most powerful federal agencies. So why would Mitch McConnell give it away by agreeing to reconfirm Democrat Jessica Rosenworcel even though Democrats already control two of the other five seats well into next year?

So Trump will hold his wife's nomination in limbo until this is settled?

Why would Trump surrender the FCC and appoint his wife? Doesn't make sense?

He must hold control of the FCC in low regard to sell it so cheaply.

Oh, that is par for the course. Remember the contempt that Reid showed for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission when he put his staffer, Gregory Jaczko, as chairman. That maneuver blew up in everyone's face.

Well, I pick no fight with you but sourcing Iranian TV for anything is a stretch.

I enjoy this election just as much as the next free man but giving hits to our enemy is not a good transfer of information in this click-money age. JMHO

On this we agree. Jill Stein is on the Clinton hit list. She had to do this. Why a Bernie Bot would suddenly support Hillary makes no sense.

What needs to be done to get rid of Mitch McConnell?
Does the fool realize that control of the FCC perpetuates the control of MSM by the Clinton/Soros propaganda machine nationwide?

Who won the election anyway?

Control of education, the news (communications) and bureaucratic rule making are all non- negotiable. At least I hope Trump realizes the obvious.

Too many of the GOPe are still around, AND STILL DON'T GET THAT WHAT THEY ARE PUSHING IS WHAT CAUSED THE ELECTION OF TRUMP IN THE FIRST PLACE.

We better concentrate on eliminating the GOPe deadwood; It looks like Trump is being played. What will they do next? Pretend that THEY were elected president?

GET RID OF McCONNELL!!!!

Fake news. Why do you people fall for all this crap?

Because most of us have no way of knowing what is crap and what isn't.

Can we all agree that McConnell is genuine crap? Can we at least agree on that?

At one time I had a hard time remembering which source like the New York Times and Washington Post were all lies/propaganda intentionally verses sources which might have some factual problems sometimes in attempt to be first at story but not in attempt to deceive. My mnemonic is this:

New York Slimes and Washington Compost. I have not had problems remembering main media lying sites since.

The usual culprits of CNN, ABC, NBC, etc. were always obvious to me. Fox became that way, so I use it mainly to see what the up and coming enemy is trying.

Note, the NDAA authorizes US intelligence agencies to use propaganda news reports as they desire...its legal for them to lie to the public now. And, it seems I read somewhere, that the intelligence agencies have paid main media news networks to run certain news and view points for some years now. Hence, the attack on “fake” news by the main media and intelligence agencies.

Sometimes, overseas news from the UK, Australia and to my surprise RT has been more accurate even with their slant. If I want accurate Middle East or European reality, I can go to some alternate sources from those areas that are live viewing the action in Europe or the Middle East.

A couple of examples is the build up of NATO forces on Russia’s Eastern border verses the story line that Russia is aggressive. To my best knowledge, I think Russia was invited into the Ukraine as the CIA was over throwing the Russian friendly leadership in Ukraine. So Russia was invited. NATO and USA were not invited.

Similarly, Russia was invited into Syria. America, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UK and ISIS were not invited into Syria.

So different then the official narrative in America.

Every WIN that we achieve, I plan to wear on my sleeves, both of them.

Mr. Trump, only long sleeves are ever worn. There is much space to fill and we must make up for countless years when all we won were the booby prizes. To win is something most of the population knows nothing about. A baby boomer here, and have yet to see anything resembling such.

If it ain’t on Drudge, Breitbart or Conservative Treehouse I’m going to call it fake news till it’s proven not to be, especially given the current circumstances where countless reports from “reliable sources” have proven to be pure BS/

If that makes you tired. Get a nice pillow & blanket & take a nap.

If you think Turtle is going to try & screw over his wife’s new boss before Trump is sworn in then you are super tired & should take a very long nap so you are well rested.

Call it what you want, but it is merely your opinion, not a statement of fact—that is my point.

I am waiting to see if story checks out before I pass judgement on the author—but I won’t denigrate him in the meantime.

Drudge, Breitbart, and Conservative TreeHouse huh...Big world out there, maybe I don’t need a nice pillow and blanket as much as you need to get out of the sandbox~there are other sources of news (especially foreign), and luckily so far, we get to decide and investigate what is true until such time as FCC or UN allows otherwise.

Fact remains, you have no proof or source to claim site is BS...Your statement was merely an opinion, and should have been stated as such.

Yes it tires me when people go around posting statements of fact that they can’t back up with facts~hence opinion as fact...but instead of napping, I will continue to point it out, like here.

What Wiki says,

- - - - -

"Commissioners
The FCC is directed by five commissioners appointed by the President of the United States and confirmed by the United States Senate for five-year terms, except when filling an unexpired term. The U.S. President designates one of the commissioners to serve as chairman. Only three commissioners may be members of the same political party. None of them may have a financial interest in any FCC-related business"

...

Importantly, commissioners may continue serving until the appointment of their replacements, but may not serve beyond the end of the next session of Congress following term expiration.[6] In practice, as of 2016 this means that commissioners may serve up to 1 1/2 years beyond the official term expiration dates listed above if no replacement is appointed."

- - - -

Two of the FCC commissioner terms have expired. One D one R. So this is going to happen with Obama /McConnell picks during the lame duck?

The fact remains you have no proof or source to prove it isn’t.

Story isn’t being covered by anyone else. Enjoy your much needed nap.
