Those used to be my least favorite....

... until I heard some pukey song about Jesus and Allah. Trying to be all coexist-y.

“Merry Christmas Darling”. But then, I dislike anything the Carpenters did.

Funny. I’m listening to The Carpenters Christmas albums even as we “speak”. My favorite. Also like Jon Anderson’s album, “Three Ships”.

I first heard it a couple of weeks ago in a store. It was in my head all day.

Yeah, it does have great "earworm" potential. It's only been about three years since I first heard it. Same thing with "Dominick the Donkey". I blame Sirius/XM for bringing back stuff that was better left forgotten.

Try "The Night Santa Went Crazy" by Weird Al.

It just isn't Christmas until I put on the Twisted Christmas and Dr Demento.

:sings: and a knife with a very sharp b-la-de.

I WANT A HIPPOPOTAMUS FOR CHRISTMAS. Stupidest song ever.

And that sticky-sweet, maudlin Christmas Shoes runs a close 2nd.

Exactly! If you haven’t seen the movie, with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye, I believe, you should. It’s in one of the opening scenes. My sister and I would sing and dance to “Sisters”...

Us too! Every time I hear or sing White Christmas, I think of Bing and the gang trying to raise money for the Colonel Love that movie!

Oh, my. I just looked that up on Youtube. That’s totally crap.

And I swear My Grownup Christmas Wish is overwrought liberal vomit.

Gotta be “Mamacita, Donde Esta Santa Claus?”, yet another tune that I only encountered in recent years. Back when I was growing up in south Louisiana, that would not have made the local radio play list.

I hear Karen Carpenter and I think, “No. You should have eaten a sandwich.” Such a beautiful voice and so very sad.

I love Jingle Bell Rock! And I love the Mariah Carey one, too. Just some of the later stuff is so awful.
