A teenager from Washington state has become the seventh person to indicate that she will break ranks with party affiliation and become a “faithless elector” in an attempt to prevent Donald Trump being formally enshrined as president-elect when the electoral college meets on 19 December.
Levi Guerra, 19, from Vancouver, Washington, is set to announce that she is joining the ranks of the so-called “Hamilton electors” at a press conference at the state capitol in Olympia on Wednesday.
The renegade group believes it is the responsibility of the 538 electors who make up the electoral college to show moral courage in preventing demagogues and other threats to the nation from gaining the keys to the White House, as the founding fathers intended....

If she’s from Washington State, she’s a democratic elector, She doesn’t want to vote for Hillary as she is ethically bound to do, to somehow protest Trump let her.. not going to change the outcome....

Why would the Democrats in Washington appoint a 19year old girl as an elector? I’ve been involved in voting for the Republican elector nominee from my congressional district 3 times. Personally, I wouldn’t vote for anyone under 50 for that position.

A democratic bound elector, can decide not to vote for Hillary, as they are ethically bound to do, if they want to protest Trump, but they have absolutely no bearing on Trump winning, because they were never going to vote for Trump in the first place... just more examples of the fact that modern “liberalism” and leftist ideologies are basically based in childish world views.
If she said she was voting for Bernie, it's not news, but since she mentioned Trump's name it's news. The uniformed Dems will cheer for her. The Republicans will scratch their heads.

It’s a state issue & “faithless elector” laws have never been tested constitutionally.
I have four daughters. They are all grown women now, women I am proud of.
But I can say with all honesty there is no dumber dumb in all the world than a nineteen year old girl.

It would have to detract at least her vote from Hillary, I would think. And it puts one more vote on the Republican column, even if not for Trump. Cutting off her nose to spite her face.
