If I wrote it I CAN post it in full but I am within the rules if I post an excerpt just like everyone else is doing with content. I am a contributor to that other website but that does not mean that I am allowed to post full content that I wrote for them on another website because they own it. There are multiple others who have provided services to the site (programming, advertising, consulting, etc.). It’s not just me and there are other writers as well who will start next month. I am not allowed to post full content on other websites - just like those other sources that people are posting here. I will continue to do it just like everyone else and post an expert with a link to the rest of the content. That is the rule for use of content from that website where my articles are posted whether I wrote the article or not. It’s part of the terms of service is just like most of the other websites that exist on the Internet.

Ah. Rules.
A bit of freedom provides you an opportunity to use Free Republic as a free advertising tool for your blog.
Good form, that.

I am not allowed to post full content on other websites

Material from your own blog that you wrote or "borrowed" all by yourself?
Really?

there are other writers as well who will start next month

So you'll be setting up a few fake accounts to promote more of your material?

I will continue to do it

That should work out great for you.

Cheers.

Here's what the guy who owns this site has to say about your posting:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/2636843/posts?page=557#552

Here's the important part:

"I have no complaint if a good conservative blogger posts his own material to FR, not as an excerpt to drive hits and discussion back to his blog, but rather to impart useful information to OUR readers and to promote and join in on the discussion and conservative activism HERE on FR.

If a blogger can’t or refuses do that, and if he constantly complains or fights with our participants over it, then I’d just as soon he doesn’t post here. It’s not my job to make his content or his presentation or cooperation acceptable to our readers. That’s his job. And if he cannot do it or refuses to do it and continues posting brief excerpts only and obviously attempting to draw away our participants while loudly complaining about it, then I have no sympathy for his complaints and the more apt I am to ban his account and blog.

Furthermore, I’m not big on “rules.” You won’t see me posting rules for bloggers. The rules for bloggers on FR are the same as the rules for everyone else. If you are a good conservative activist and are willing to work with US on OUR goals and causes and not against US, then you’re welcome to post to FR. But unless we say otherwise your blog material should be posted to our bloggers forum and it would be best if you do not excerpt your own material and if you would actually join in on the discussion here on FR. We’re not really that interested in driving OUR traffic to YOUR blog. But if our readers see that you post useful information then they might start reading your site and that’s fine by me."

Remember the thread that was pulled on Wednesday?

Did you bother to read why it was pulled?

You posted an excerpt here on FR that was actually not your writing, but was itself an excerpt of a Breitbart article which you in turn excerpted on your blog.

In other words you expected to get hits for "finding" an article on one of the most heavily sourced websites used on this forum. If you were looking to constructively participate in the discussion here, the way Jim refers to it above, you would have simply linked to he Breitbart article and left it at that. But you just had to get paid for your effort.

And now you're paying for that greed. It's made many of us suspect everything you do.
