Repubs made some inroads even in Oregon. who said Trump didn't have coattails? BTW, is Brad Avakian related to Bob Avakian? Bob Avakian was a low level commie agitator from NYC in the 60's-70's.

I’ve asked this question many times: who wants to eat a cake made by a baker who doesn’t respect or like you? As my culinary professor says every day: Don’t anger the cook.

I think 'JUSTICE' has not yet been served, but at least the voters sent the him packing.

But make no mistake, he will eventually see justice, in this life or the next.

Who doesn’t have a little spare time to get themselves up to speed with Section 1 of 14th Amendment?

14th Amendment, Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Citizens with religious convictions need to get familiar with Section 1. It can save same them a bunch of grieve in pro-LGBT activist states that wrongly use government power to harass citizens with religious convictions.

You know when someone who gets married that often and her child come in for a wedding cake, it must have taken an amazing act of faith to walk away from that much recurring business!

I am of the opinion that true justice would be requiring him to pay the fine that he imposed in clear violation of the 1st Amendment freedom of assembly clause.

Oregon can save the embarrassment of ruling against "Sweet Cakes" when this case gets to them, lest the case gets taken to Trump's Supreme Court as a 1st amendment freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of association case, and they get slammed by the national precedent it would set.

Then the USSC can establish freedom for bakers, photographers, wedding venues, and churches everywhere.

This was a case of two bakers refusing to bow down to an abuse of power having the “coat tails.” Their courage is the inspiration.
Trump did not trigger the revolt by people sick and tired this kind of abuse of power against mom and pop businesses, he simply rode a wave of rage that’s been building through several elections.
