Now perhaps I am losing it, but isn’t this the latest of a number of Supermoons in the past few years?
I dunno. I think they can get a lot closer than that. A super-moon cut in front of me at the supermarket checkout line!
Harvest moons are much prettier. I saw this supermoon last night. No biggie.

Does anyone know how to determine where is a good place to view this moon tonight, and what time for a certain locale? I live in a semi-rural area, but I would love to try to get a photograph of it if I can. Even if it’s not very good. I just don’t know where I’m supposed to be to get one.
