No. My trust of Cruz is really low.
I think we’ve got to separate our dislike of LG with the actual recommendation. Cruz to the SC is very solid. No chance he’ll turn out to be a John Roberts, or God-forbid, David Souter. There are many seemingly qualified judges, but we wouldn’t be quite as sure of their conservative bona-fides as we would be with Cruz.
Trump needs to nominate a conservative black or Latino female.
The Senate Dems would be forced to choose between their idenity-politics base and their ideology.
Grahams an idiot. Don’t listen to him. Graham hates Cruz and Trump. He never agrees with either. I would not ever listen to him.
I have no problem with Cruz being on the Supreme Court but there were others on Trumps list who were also good.
Of course we dispute that a Goldman Sachs globalist drone is conservative.
And that is probably the real reason. I thought Cruz already said he wasn’t interested.
Ted Cruz is needed in the Senate we can get someone else just as conservative to sit on the Supreme court. graham is trying to suck up to conservatives ad he probably knows that a conservative will be nominated anyway so this way he can get rid of Cruz.
That one I am for.

Cruz is fat and sleek but he’s also the type of guy you don’t loan your truck, chainsaw or wife to: that sumbeech would throw a rod in anyone of them.
He’s reached his level of competence. Texas voters may disagree.

Not sure this is a good idea. The Senate majority is already razor thin, and reliable conservatives few. Can’t really afford to take away the good ones - they are needed to enact the reform agenda.
