The look on her face (right after the sidelong glance) when Newt accused her of being obsessed with sex...was just like Xenia Onatopp from the James Bond movie Goldeneye.
I think she got spurned by Trump -- and Hell has no fury like a scorned woman.
(Note she cut her hair after the run-in with Trump: women often cut their hair short when they are angry at men, or when they are trying to re-assert control over their lives...if you catch my drift).

You may be right after all. Hard to find another explanation for her obsession with destroying Trump.
