Real Clear Politics posted an article about why WikiLeaks email attacks “fizzled.”
Writer Bill Scher downplayed the exposed machinations of the Clinton campaign, and even Hillary’s handsomely rewarded speeches before big banks and Wall Street. He explained how “WikiLeaks tried to take down a candidate with embarrassing private emails and failed.”
Scher wrote that the only thing “exposed” by the Podesta emails is the “grist of political life.” This is just the way things are. “It doesn’t make our politicians or our Democracy a sham,” he stated.
In fact, if we were to uncover the emails from the Ted Cruz campaign, or some other candidate, we’d find similar calculations, political maneuver plans, and discussions about how to spin certain things in interviews with the media. And Donald Trump’s internal campaign emails would be “in their own category of insanity,” according to Scher.
I don’t contest his premise that so far the WikiLeaks revelations have “fizzled.” But Scher missed a big point about why that’s happened. It’s not that the American public doesn’t care about the contents of the leaked emails. It’s that most people – particularly those of the Democratic persuasion – don’t care enough to even find out what’s in them.
Most people allow their opinions to be shaped by their media networks of choice. With the exception of Fox News, the national media isn’t covering the contents of the Podesta emails; the pay-to-play schemes revealed by them between the State Department and the Clinton Foundation; Hillary’s numerous paid speeches before big banks and financial institutions – that she claims to hate in public – that have until now been kept secret by the Clinton campaign; and the overall dirty politics that Americans have long grown weary over.
Most of the media is either downplaying the corruption, or pretending that there’s nothing there to report on, leading their viewers to believe that there’s just nothing to see, and that the real focus needs to be on the several unsubstantiated claims of women against Donald Trump. Remember, if the media doesn’t report on something, it doesn’t exist. And when they do report on something, it must be true.
One other thing. There’s no evidence that these emails were “stolen” or are the result of a hack. Nor is there evidence that Russia is behind it. That’s the Clinton narrative. If they can convince people that it’s “stolen” private information, and that Russia is deliberately interfering with the U.S. electoral process, then that makes Democrats’ case better that people shouldn’t be reading them. But it’s all conjecture.
The way WikiLeaks has always operated is by having sources leak information, documents, and emails to them. They don’t hire hackers to steal this information. It’s a refuge for whistleblowers. Liberals used to champion WikiLeaks for being a voice for exposing corruption in governments around the world. But now liberals hate WikiLeaks, because the organization has shown itself to be independent and non-partisan. They’re not on any political party’s team.
Does that mean that it must have not been the result of hackers? No. It just means that there’s no evidence to support that claim.

It didn’t fail. The mainstream media just didn’t report it as they should of if they were truly unbiased. When President Trump is elected they’ll know the truth.
The problem is that the main stream media decides what is and isn’t news. They decide who gets elected. Obama should have been derailed after the Rev. Wright tapes but the media made it okay for him. If it had been a republican in that situation, that person’s career would have been over.

There wouldn’t have been this discussion true, or false IF the MSM was truly an objective entity doing the job they exist to do. Donald Trump is so correct about the news media.
Regarding the Russian hack: Remember it was only a few months ago that our government was assuring us that Clinton’s server posed a national security risk because there was no evidence any foreign power hacked in. BS, the rest of us exclaimed.
How things have changed. Now our government is saying that it’s all the Russians, who are behind all these hacks, and who are doing so to get Trump elected.
The intellectual agility of our leaders is something to behold.
It just goes to show that the so-called “Fourth Estate” is really a whorehouse and whose only interest is to further the leftist agenda.

These news organization don’t conduct the polls, heck, they don’t even pay for them, Hillary pays for them and they get conducted the way her campaign wants

The media has moved into simply declaring the election over. Wikileaks has had a profound effect on the election, positively for Trump. Now hack writers are literally - as here - just saying “everybody does it, move along.” Well, everybody doe NOT do it, and they wouldn’t want you to move along if it didn’t hurt Hillary for you to stay. Remember, the entire MSM is lying for Hillary’s campaign - all of them. Read everything with that in mind. And also remember that the only people they’re hiding info from are Hillary’s LIVs - because Trump’s people read the Net for their news. The numbers are pretty much already locked in, and so now Hillary’s strategy is to spread despair, so Trump’s voters give up and don’t vote. That’s what you’re seeing here.
For years we've put up with this election steering done by Democrat media. We should have been dropping atomic bombs on these bastards and trying to wreck their finances and their industry.
We should have been surrounding the "news" offices with pitchforks and torches while daring them to F*** with us some more.
We aren't going to fix this nation until those bastards no longer have control of the television network system. We must take over control of the networks and the transmitters and then turn these weapons back on their former masters.
Let them feel the withering glare of hostile cameras and editing rooms pointed at them.
If we allow Hitlery to become President this country deserves to be nuked by the Russians. It would be a fitting end to a country that pays more attention to football and Hollywood celebrities than the basic tenents of being a useful and responsible member of a free nation.

Exactly, the author failed to mention the media is in on it. Last I saw, 65 so-called journalists are implicated in the Podesta leak alone. Not to mention the powers on high that pull the strings within their respective media empires, all to affect their own otherly pursuits at the cost of the free media. Break up the media.

The rank promotion of vote fraud and use of the IRS to intimidate political foes: these are truly criminal in nature. The Obama DOJ’s use of prosecutorial discretion to the point of absurdity renders any sense of justice null and void, while liberals live under the delusion that, if a crime is not prosecuted or convicted, it does not exist. Those chicks are coming home to roost “big league,” however, as law-abiding Americans push back with Trump as their spearhead.
The MSM is not the ‘go-to’ for news anymore. They are like back ground noise at the local gas station. But, most are getting their news on-line now.
