I have a bet with another FReeper. I bet Trump gets over 25% of the black vote. I made the bet about 6 months ago and now think he will get at least 30%.
If Trump gets anywhere near those numbers (which he won’t), he will win in a landslide.
I would be ecstatic with 20%.
Except for total vote counts in majority black precincts it will still be hard to tell percentage of Trump votes by blacks. I expect them to be just as quiet with exit pollsters as they are now.
He will win 20% of the black vote and it will be a landslide for Trump. I know quite a few blacks here in the suburbs of Chicago that will vote for him. They have NEVER voted for a GOP candidate before.

Trump is going to win by a landslide. Most pollsters know this but in order to manipulate the votes they need to keep saying it’s a tight race.

All the blacks I work with are voting for Hillary, you know, the wife of the first black president. Black women, in particular love Hillary.
Please explain your theory as how they will just flip their support. The blacks I work with are middle to upper middle, not ghetto blacks and some even speak with no accent. If Trump can't get these people, where are these blacks that will vote for Trump? I hope you are correct, but that is not what I am seeing.

Yeah, Trump is quite a raciss. Going to Detroit. Getting blacks on board. One would think the GOPe would be ecstatic. He is accomplishing what they have been telling us we need for decades.

I live in a rural area that has been completely infiltrated with illegals which just also happens to be in the black belt of America. The blacks really support building the wall because they see how they have been kicked to the curb by the illegals. Blacks can no longer get their kids into the pre-K programs because the kids that can’t even speak English take priority. They see these non-speaking illegals getting ahead of them at the welfare office and everywhere else. There is no love lost between blacks and illegals. If they don’t vote for Trump, I can see them not voting at all. I haven’t seen any support for the old haggard white woman.

Many inner city blacks don’t want jobs. Four generations of welfare dependency, and life in the urban ghetto culture, have destroyed the desire to be productive and self reliant. Most do know know or understand there are alternatives to the cycle of poverty. Daily, they are told by community leaders they are slaves and powerless to take individual action to change their circumstance. Most do not have the education and social skills to successfully hold a job much less the ambition or desire to lead a different life. Even if they try, others in their community will put them down for the effort. The sad thing is urban core dwellers actually have job opportunities today but they are being filled by immigrants. The urban blacks trapped in the cycle of welfare dependency are going to be rounded up on election day and bussed to the polls where they will vote for Hillary to protect their benefits.
I also doubt the middle class blacks who disproportionately fill the bureaucracies of government at all levels will back Trump. He has very openly stated he will slash the bloated bureaucracies and limit their power to regulate people and business. Those who staff the bureaucracies are not going to vote for someone who threatens their jobs and lifestyles.
I can see black small business people and some middle class blacks in the private sector voting for Trump. However, they are small in number, and probably less than 10% of the total black population. Remember the numbers, blacks comprise 12% of the total population so 10% of 12% is only 1.2% of potential voters.
Ultimately people vote in their self interest. The number of blacks whose self interest aligns with Hillary’s view of government (i.e. the welfare dependents, government bureaucrats, and liberal social activists) far outnumber those who currently benefit from a healthy and growing private sector.
