Not so new in principle. Lewis and Clark expedition carried a big bore air rifle. Girandoni air rifle - Wikipedia

Looks new in execution. Sweet rifle.

Still a single shot. Anyone making one with a cyclic rate of around 600?

Can you imagine the purpllectric fits gun grabbers and the ATF would have? Imagine an air gun that fired single shot, three shot burst, or “let ‘ER rip” that weighed less than fifteen pounds, fired a 90 gr projectile at 3,000 fps and could be fired 1,000 times without reloading or recharging? It would change EVERYTHING. LOL.
