It might be okay but I’d temper expectations for jarred stuff.
Once was way, way south La. and bought a jar at Wal-mart.
Not real good but okay on hot dogs, tacos and stuff.
I buy the homemade stuff.
Hmart usually has homemade kimchi along with the state-side produced commercial stuff.
PA has several stores but no idea your geo.

I'm about 2½ hours west of those places, but will stop at one if I get over that way, someday soon. Thanks.

When MrD plants rye grass seed on our ranch, he mixes some turnip seeds. Then we have contests on who can find the biggest turnip.

Back in the sixties I saw a cookbook which boasted that its recipes were reliable for company dinners. It warned of an experience the writer had, of trying a new dish for a company dinner, at which some WWII vets (they were everywhere back then) would be present. She diligently followed the instructions and then tasted the result - and recoiled in horror. Its Spam!!!

My Mom would fry cubes of spam and put it on a toothpick with a chunk of pineapple and a maraschino cherry. That is about the only way I have been able to tolerate spam.
