I haven’t cared about the NFL since about 1999, maybe 1989. I forget which it was

I'm trying to wean myself off, but it's a difficult habit.

I've pretty much abandoned watching other professional sports-I used to be obsessed as a kid-and this is the last and arguably the hardest.

Two weeks ago. Combat veteran or not. Not until the NFL, a private organization, makes a renunciation for their multimillion dollar dope pretending the US flag, the Star Spangled Banner stands for racism

Not anyone should tune into any NFL game

Already done. I did catch about 5 seconds while walking through a casino but that was it.

This has become actually comical:

Colin Kaepernick joined a high school football team in its protest Friday night in Oakland, California, where numerous players were photographed lying on their backs with their hands raised while the San Francisco 49ers quarterback kneeled during the pregame playing of the national anthem.

... and who's dr_lew(I) ????????

Its easier for me since I dont watch football anyway. This junk they are pulling just confirms I made the right choices about it.

Big time fan for many, many years. All day Sunday was nothing but NFL. After many years of being insulted and lectured to, this was the last straw. I canceled my NFL Sunday ticket and haven’t watched a single game.

I quit years ago when it became a non-contact sport! Like when they say that they don’t want the injuries to the big money players. Mostly the offensive players!

I don’t watch the NFL anyway. If anyone wants a better league to enjoy, try the NHL. Longer season, more games, incredible athletes, lots of action, less money, better off camera behavior, and respect is paid to two anthems.

If enough people keep boycotting sooner or later it will have to impact the dollar amount they can payout on contracts, right. Boycott 'em till they can barely afford to pay anything or their contracts.
