On Tuesday night, 43-year-old Keith Lamont Scott was shot and killed by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officer Brentley Vinson in the parking lot of an apartment complex. Both Scott and Officer Vinson are black, but the shooting nonetheless sparked Black Lives Matter protests which focused the eyes of the world on Charlotte, North Carolina

I always think these days of Rush’s dictum, “Everything is 180 degrees out of phase.” I think that in reference to the volumes of left oriented rock and pop lyrics that my head is filled with from the 60’s 70’s 80’s and 90’s. Example given: “Stop! people, what’s that sound? Everybody look what’s goin’ down.”
This was supposed to be alerting people, or really bolstering their widely held perception, that “the left” i.e. youth, were “rising up” against the ancient and primordial fascistic forces of suppression ... whatever that meant!
There are innumerable examples of this kind of thing, and every one of them reinforces the obvious fact: the left has become what they warned us of.
my solution is to really start to exhibit open carry where it is legal, like in philly and pa. if we as citizens openly carry every where we can, cops will no longer shoot people that possess a firearm. did the guy provoke and not subdue on the cops command. it seems so. but the underlying conversation is that he had a gun and the cops felt the need to act on just the possession and brandishing in his car. flame away.

Well, let’s see...last week a black cop in Charlotte shot and killed a black felon with a long violent record, a Somali Muslim killed 3 people with a knife in a terror attack at a mall in Minnesota, a Pakistani Muslim set off bombs in New Jersey and New York, a Turkish Muslim kills 5 with a rifle in a mall in Washington, and 3 black gang members shot 8 blacks in Baltimore...
...and Hillary thinks that she needs to talk with white people about the problems they’ve caused.

The DIMS were hoping this would be the North Carolina version of Treyvon Martin/George Zimmerman and galvanize the Negro vote for Hillary!.
Doesn’t appear to be working out that way, though.

I have no reason to flame, you’ve already identified the problem we all have. We don’t yet have all the information; maybe the recently deceased was at fault, maybe not - we’ll have to wait and see. As it happens, we have that luxury, police do not have that luxury. They have to protect the public - I can’t, and won’t, fault the cops involved.
