The Young Turks‘ Cenk Uygur issued a rebuke to Democrats who were assured that Hillary Clinton was a sure bet to beat Trump.
Uygur was responding to footage of a Florida crowd breaking out in laughter when Democratic congressional candidate Charlie Crist said at a debate that Clinton was “honest.” Crist is a former Republican and also former Florida governor.

“They LOL’d literally. That’s a LOL,” Uygur said.
He continued, “Democratic party establishment, you knuckleheads. What have you done? What have you done? You thought that she was the better candidate.” He noted that Florida, the home of the Clinton-heckling audience, is a “pretty important” state.
“It turns out that we weren’t just telling you Hillary Clinton is a bad candidate because we like the other guy. It’s because we were right, but they’ll never admit it,” he said. During the Democratic primary, TYT supported Bernie Sanders.
“We’ve got 48 days to Armageddon,” Uygur said, noting Trump’s leads in Florida and Ohio.
“Get your head out of your — let’s be polite and say, get your head out of the sand. Okay? She’s losing! She’s a terrible candidate! Figure out a strategy in the next 48 days to turn around, otherwise you’re going to make Donald Trump, the monster, idiot, whatever you want to call him, loser… Donald Trump will become the most powerful man on earth.”
After a pause, he added, “Jesus, what have you done to us?”
Honest by Charlie Crist standards is different from everybody else’s “honest”.

Trump has policy positions that were favored by the majority of GOP primary voters.
Priceless. And as the Democrats will ignore them since there is not much they can do at this point, we get Trump. Go Trump!
Cenk wants a candidate he calls awful, to win by being packaged better.
Kind of like packaging a bag of shit and trying to sell as “country poupourri.”
Trump better take that clip of Crist getting laughed at about hillary being honest and make a commercial.

FWIW, his first name means `war’ in Turkish, and “Uygur” or “Uighur” refers to the troublesome Muslim minority in western China. Turks, Uzbeks, and Uighurs are all Turkic peoples originating in Central Asia and are related by language & culture, and intermarry freely.

This is a concern of mine as well. I read somewhere a while back, “There is no lie they will not tell, no crime they will not commit.”
Think JFK, RFK, MLK, attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan, and on and on. The Clinton body count alone is in the 70s.
