Your point is a good one, though, Trump doesn’t just ‘live’ in NYC. He is extremely connected in NYC. The Fraternal Order of Police just endorsed him. He probably has forgotten more about NYC than the campaign media has ever known.

They do announce the sports scores, true. However even with sports it highly political, thus I am skeptical. Watching the commentary on the Redskins name, BLM protests, etc., is disgusting.

Awfully hard to pass off the total mangling of a trash container as anything LESS than a bomb explosion. Properly placed and strategically detonated, such a container explosion can cause CONSIDERABLE human carnage.

The reasoning behind the MSM correctness on sports scores is because they have no opinion that can be applied.
Reporters (journalists, press etc.. ) all wish to interject their personal opinions into each and every report. They’re even asked by news anchors what their opinion is... that is simply not reporting, that us editorializing. Which used to be a position filled by senior, tenured, experienced journalists.
Everyone has their own opinion. The problem is that in the press the editors have lost control of these self-aggrandizing and self-appointed op-ed egotists out in the field.
Reporters should be fired if they overstep their function. Then news reporting would be a much cleaner process, and therefore begin to be more accurate... just the facts, and all the facts from all sides if a story.
The media deliberately and intentionally, with full knowledge and awareness has chosen to use all its resources to promote democrats and to destroy Republicans and other normal people.
Journalism as a profession should be licensed much as the same way other professionals down to hairstylists and fingernail painters are required to attain. s we say that every right or freedom also has a responsibility, what is more responsible than truth?

Hate to be a pedantic nitpicker, but “reactionary” is a poor word choice here. It means “extreme rightism or conservatism an politics” (which, unfortunately or not, does not describe Trump). It originally referred to those who reacted against the ‘gains’ of the French Revolution. What. What you meant was “too quick to react without sufficient information” or, as you say later, someone who jumped the gun.

The coverage was so good that Stern dropped his format that day and went straight news. The parent organisation of Stern’s station (i think it was CBS) carried Stern beyond his slotted time.

The fact that WaPo and NYT have little influence outside the DC and NYC eludes themselves. They still have the illusion that their frontline stories would have ripple effect on public opinion the second day’s morning. But that is so 20 century, nobody cares newspapers nowadays, they are just empty hollow big names of the past.
