Hillary Clinton says she is working to combat coughing fits like the two that occurred yesterday by increasing her antihistamine intake.
Clinton was addressing reporters aboard her campaign plane today when she said used the "allergies" defense, and said they flare up in the spring and fall.
"Are you on any meds or anything like that?" she was asked.
“I just upped my antihistamine load to try to break through it,” she responded, according to the New York Times. (The Times omitted "load" from its quotation, but she clearly says it in the video.)

When I have allergies, I sneeze, and blow my nose and get itchy eyes. I’m not familiar with allergies causing uncontrollable coughing. I associate that more with a cold or TB.
Anyone remember coughing fits in 2014, 2015....or anytime in the past?
She could show up to the debates with a needle in her arm, mumbling about heroin and the pundits would declare her the winner based on the fact that she didn’t cough.
I agree with you. Of all the allergy sufferers I’ve known, none of them cough uncontrollably. Funny that she didn’t suffer these ‘allergies’ years ago. Hillary has something wrong with her.
Interesting, most allergy sufferers (I’m one) know you’re supposed to start your regimen at least 6 weeks before your seasonal allergies start.

I work with someone who has unstoppable coughing bouts. I wondered if it was asthma.

Someone should recommend she take a few dozen shots of 151 with them and that should cure her cough, permanently.

All this year. Not sure about earlier, but at least 4-6 times this year.
Me too. I sneeze and nose runs and eyes itchy.
The only time I coughed like her is near the sea shore with the Red Tide coming in.
Here is some advice for her.
Swimming near dead fish is not recommended. 2. Symptoms from breathing red tide toxins are normally coughing, sneezing and teary eyes. Symptoms are usually temporary when red tide toxins are in the air.

Sorry, have to disagree. Until I moved to Texas, I didn’t know what allergies were. In the last 10 years, when I get allergies and it is pretty much the entire year, with some periods worse than others, I have the eye itching, nose running symptoms, but I also get a scratchy throat and when I talk I have been known to cough pretty bad for a spell. Especially when I was around my dog.
Not saying she has them or doesn’t have them. Just saying allergies can last for long periods of time and can cause heavy coughing.
