When I have allergies, I sneeze, and blow my nose and get itchy eyes. I’m not familiar with allergies causing uncontrollable coughing. I associate that more with a cold or TB.

Me too. I sneeze and nose runs and eyes itchy.

The only time I coughed like her is near the sea shore with the Red Tide coming in.
Here is some advice for her.

Swimming near dead fish is not recommended. 2. Symptoms from breathing red tide toxins are normally coughing, sneezing and teary eyes. Symptoms are usually temporary when red tide toxins are in the air.

I get seasonal allergies that irritate my chest more than my sinuses, and her fits are symptomatic of letting that irritation turn into infection. I take the modern day version of pseudo fed for mine when it flares up. Not saying that that is what she has, but untreated, these chest irritations can progress to bronchitis or even pneumonia.

I get cough when I am sitting in old office cubicles. Mold or dust particles.

While I don't believe this is the case with Lying Hitlery, allergies can cause nasal drip that irritates the throat and results in coughing. Just saying.

I have allergies and I cough. I use an inhaler morning and night to keep it under control. You do not use antihistamines.

Antihistamines are for post nasal drip which can cause a sore throat but rarely extending coughing spells.
