Even at muzzle velocities generated by a 12ga shell, I don’t see these projectiles doing much penetration on a human body. Superficial wounds at worst. But at point blank range...it could hurt.

I think two cannon balls attached by a chain used on ships in the 1700s is scarier..

Scariest? No. Most useless? Probably.

A gimmick, but no real potential for use better than real ammo.

“Cameraman: It would certainly seem that twelve exacto blades loaded into a shotgun shell would be the most terrifying, macho, deadly, terrifying round you can imagine. But there’s plenty of time-proven oldschool rounds that are very effective without gimmicky modifications. There’s never a shortage of companies trying to play on human’s emotions and coming out with a lot of gimicky stuff, and the companies always give them the most terrifying names, From the ‘Rip Ammo’ to the ‘Bow Bags’to the ‘Black Talons’. They’re almost never more effective than a traditional round, but they sure do play on people’s emotions.”

Wait until one of those makeshift rounds twists in the barrel and the barrel explodes in the shooter’s face.

One of my handloading books talks about an experimental "junkyard dog" load, in which a bundle of short lengths of welding rod are used in a .357 Magnum cartridge instead of a bullet. The author reports that it was surprisingly ineffective, but that a D.A. would probably show no mercy if you tried to use something like this for self defense.

I used to shoot those out of a 105mm cannon. Not impressed.

Not impressed. The Hornady VMAX and Barnes Varmint Grenade projectiles are much better IMO. at 2:37, the story is told

Why use Shredder Ammo when you can now have newly created XRBR ammo.

Xtreme Rabid Badger Rounds signal a paradigm shift in home defense and anti-terrorism ammunition. Utilizing the same state of the art technology that puts foam dinosaurs in those plastic capsules that dissolve in hot water, I’ve been able to enhance what would be otherwise boring hollowpoint ammunition with a rabid badger core. The exact process is like, totally secret and proprietary.

Upon striking the body of your target, a rabid badger is unleashed through a process that involves a lot of really hard to understand math and physics calculations, and possibly some magic. The resulting stopping power goes beyond devastating, and is actually completely unable to be measured. In every ballistic test conducted, the badger ate the gelatin block, and then quickly turned on the testers.

My cores use very expensive laboratory grade badgers that are 99.9% pure, and 100% insane with rabies.

The shock of a rabid badger bursting from a teammate’s body and then going totally nuts adds a psychological warfare element unmatched by any other ammunition maker in the industry today. To further enhance this, I took a cue from the A-10 Warthog, and painted a scary face on each and every round.

Already in use by Elite Team Fighting and many other highly trained special operations forces around the world, XRBR rounds represent the zenith in small arms ammunition technology. Get yours today!
