Guess what's in San Diego? How about a MASSIVE military presence with a huge US Navy base, MCAR Miramar north of the city and Camp Pendleton in northern San Diego County. As such, he's going to facing a large number of fans who are either in the military or work as civilian contractors at those military bases. And he will be booed and jeered VERY loudly.
