A man is facing serious backlash after proudly posting photos of his daughter taking a bite of warm deer heart as part of a hunting tradition.
On NZ Woman Hunters Facebook page, hunter Johnny posted a photo of his daughter, "little pink ninja princess Chloe", taking a bite of a deer heart straight from the chest of a deer she killed. This submission has been taken off Facebook.
Johnny submission states he is a proud dad and that his daughter successfully shot and killed a young stag using his shoulder as a leaning rest. It’s a tradition that is known in the hunting community, but not everyone partake in this "ritual".
Upon this submission NZ Woman Hunters page have had over 20,000 shares with comments filled with people criticizing Johnny’s parenting skills and referring both as "sadistics" and "psychopaths". I bet they do some other extreme things together. Like physically going to the same area out of season and taking care of the environment and making it better for the deer and other animals.
A more caring family would donate to an environmental group, that would lobby to get laws and budgets passed, to hire government workers to supervise other workers to clean up carcasses of animals that died of starvation or disease, and discuss ways to stop the deaths from happening in the future.
Idi Amin used to cut out the livers of the opponents he had executed and take bites out of them. It was supposed to give him the strength of the person he had executed. He was muslim, interestingly enough.
Is picking your nose and eating it too extreme a ritual?!

They eat fish raw, don’t they? I guess its different if a guy in a white cap is fixing it for you.
You have a point there. An infinite number of unborn children can be brutally murdered without ever, once, causing any discomfort to deer.
To people who hate humanity, stuff like that matters.
I would never allow my child to do that. There are way too many diseases that he/she could catch.
There are very tasty ways to cook heart.

A Moral Government would require Morality to applied equally in all things and the government wouldn’t be able to justify a policy they profit from.
I had the liver after my first one. Very happy day for me.
How about that scene in Red Dawn where the kid shoots his first deer & the others tell him to drink its blood.
“You gotta do it, it’s the spirit of the deer.”
He gulps down a canteen cup full & is congratulated, “You did that, his blood is yours. My Dad said when you do that, there’s gonna be something different about you. Always.”

Oh, deer. Now I have a weird urge to jump a fence and grow some antlers.
“We eat pig’s feet, sweetbreads, tongue, Rock Mountain oysters, haggis, chopped liver and foie gras. Why is eating the heart so extreme?”
Repeat this sentence, but after foie gras say the word “raw.”
I think they could have expected the reaction they got...
Well if they wanted to be PC about it I guess they could grill the heart and take a pic of the kid. Dipping it in A-1 sauce. :-)
Biologically that would be a healthier practice.
